Rebelution kicked off their “Peace of Mind Tour” the day after the release, selling out shows at Philly’s The Electric Factory, The Hollywood Palladium, Denver’s The Fillmore, The Fox Theater in Oakland and Hard Rock in Orlando, FL. The tour made stops in a total of 42 cities across the country.
Summer 2012 was spent supporting O.A.R on their Amphitheatre tour, headlining four amphitheaters in Florida as well as festival performances at Outside Lands, Hangout, Forecastle, Summer Camp, Summer Set, The Allman Bro’s Peach Festival and two performances at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. After completing a Fall tour of the East and South East, Rebelution will be headlining The Hollywood Palladium on New Years Eve, heading to New Zealand for the Raggamuffins Festival in February and headlining their annual Winter Greens Tour around the USA in Feb - May 2013.
Peace of Mind marks the first time Rebelution has expanded beyond their usual self-production enlisting producers Michael Goldwasser (Easy Star All-Stars), Amp Live (Zion-I), Yeti Beats (Kool Keith, George Clinton), Keith Armstrong and Errol Brown (Stephen, Ziggy, Damian, and Bob Marley). The album builds upon the band’s signature style while venturing into new musical genres from the lush strings incorporated into the gentle “Route Around” to the driving guitar and synths throughout “Lady In White”.
Rebelution has developed into a front-runner for grassroots, independent and tour driven music groups. Originally formed in 2004, members Eric Rachmany (vocals / guitar), Rory Carey (keyboards), Wesley Finley (drums), and Marley D. Williams (bass) met in college, while residing in Isla Vista, a popular beachside community in Santa Barbara. It was there that the seeds to Rebelution’s future were planted creating inspiring and engaging music that would leave their listeners with the sense that they have the power to make this world a better place. The band continuously tours across the country, ventured to South America and Europe, and has previously performed at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits among others.

More Than Ever
Rebelution Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Give me two weeks, when I come home, I'll come and say hello,
With hugs and kisses for you Mrs. how I miss you so,
Been gone forever, nothing better than to see you though
Tell me how you been,
Don't you act surprised this is how I am,
I'm feeling good and that's real,
Remember me and you
Remember when we'd sit,
Talk face to face and wonder whether we'd be making it,
And chat for hours about the leftist side of government,
I'd sit and listen to your words and I'd be loving it,
And now the times have changed,
Older but we always stay the same,
I'm filling up the whole lane,
You and me should kick it more than ever, more than ever, more than ever
Remember me and you
The lyrics to Rebelution's More Than Ever evoke a sense of nostalgia as the singer reminisces on a time when they could freely connect with loved ones. The singer promises to come back and say hello to Mrs., whom they miss dearly after being gone for so long. The hug and kiss carry a lot of significance and symbolize the importance of physical connection and affection.
The singer then proceeds to ask about Mrs's well-being, indicating a genuine interest in their loved one's life. They assure Mrs. that they are feeling good, indicating they are in a better place now. The singer suggests that they should hang out more than ever before, indicating a yearning for more meaningful connections with those close to them.
The second verse continues on the theme of nostalgia as the singer recalls a time when they would sit and talk for hours about politics and current affairs. They cherished their conversations and seemed to appreciate listening to Mrs's opinions. Despite the fact that time has passed, the singer assures Mrs. that they are still the same at heart. They are now "filling up the whole lane," indicating that they have achieved some level of success, but still remain humble.
Overall, More Than Ever is a song about the importance of connectedness and affection in our lives. It reminds us of the significance of physical and emotional connections with loved ones, and the need for sincere and open communication. It conveys a sense of longing for times when we could talk face to face, but also expresses hope for more meaningful connections in the future.
