Rebelution kicked off their “Peace of Mind Tour” the day after the release, selling out shows at Philly’s The Electric Factory, The Hollywood Palladium, Denver’s The Fillmore, The Fox Theater in Oakland and Hard Rock in Orlando, FL. The tour made stops in a total of 42 cities across the country.
Summer 2012 was spent supporting O.A.R on their Amphitheatre tour, headlining four amphitheaters in Florida as well as festival performances at Outside Lands, Hangout, Forecastle, Summer Camp, Summer Set, The Allman Bro’s Peach Festival and two performances at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. After completing a Fall tour of the East and South East, Rebelution will be headlining The Hollywood Palladium on New Years Eve, heading to New Zealand for the Raggamuffins Festival in February and headlining their annual Winter Greens Tour around the USA in Feb - May 2013.
Peace of Mind marks the first time Rebelution has expanded beyond their usual self-production enlisting producers Michael Goldwasser (Easy Star All-Stars), Amp Live (Zion-I), Yeti Beats (Kool Keith, George Clinton), Keith Armstrong and Errol Brown (Stephen, Ziggy, Damian, and Bob Marley). The album builds upon the band’s signature style while venturing into new musical genres from the lush strings incorporated into the gentle “Route Around” to the driving guitar and synths throughout “Lady In White”.
Rebelution has developed into a front-runner for grassroots, independent and tour driven music groups. Originally formed in 2004, members Eric Rachmany (vocals / guitar), Rory Carey (keyboards), Wesley Finley (drums), and Marley D. Williams (bass) met in college, while residing in Isla Vista, a popular beachside community in Santa Barbara. It was there that the seeds to Rebelution’s future were planted creating inspiring and engaging music that would leave their listeners with the sense that they have the power to make this world a better place. The band continuously tours across the country, ventured to South America and Europe, and has previously performed at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits among others.

Notice Me
Rebelution Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Day and night
Years I’ve been waiting on you
Now I’m on the day you arrived
All aligned
Emotions always add up to
Don’t wanna be lonely
Everybody’s saying
Don’t wanna be alone
Me, Myself and I
Baby did you notice me?
Well tell me
Tell me what you’re thinking
I was only hoping that you noticed
Well even just for a second
I was only hoping that you noticed me
Tell me what you’re feeling
I was only hoping that you know this
Well even just for a second
I was only hoping that you noticed me
Now as the days pass by
I can’t deny it
Caught up in corner of time
I gotta give you a sign
Get your attention
Can’t get you off my mind
Don’t wanna be lonely
Everybody’s saying
I could never live that way
Don’t wanna be alone
Me, Myself and I
Baby did you notice me?
The lyrics of Rebelution's song "Notice Me" are about the desperation to be noticed by someone they have been waiting for. The singer is expressing how they have been waiting for this person for years and finally, when that person arrives, their emotions are all aligned. They don't want to be lonely and they hope the person notices them.
The song conveys the feeling of longing, and the singer wants to know what the person on their mind is thinking and feeling. They hope that even for a second, that person notices them. As time passes by, the singer can't deny their feelings, and they want to get the person's attention.
The song touches upon universal themes of longing, desperation, and the desire to be noticed by someone we have strong feelings for.

“This song is about finding a connection with someone without any words spoken to each other,” Rachmany says. “Something can be said about looking into the eyes of someone you simply want to get to know better. I think many of us have a common dream to find that certain someone you can love eternally and ‘Notice Me’ hints at that connection beginning with a stare across the room.”

The beat in the beginning just sends these positive vibrations to my dark soul. This is the typa stuff I need to hear more often than I do.
