Rebelution Lyrics

Alright, we're moving
Woah oh, yeah ay
Woah oh oh oh
We're grooving
Nothing like roots reggae music
Now turn it up, I wanna lose it
Nothing like roots reggae music, oh oh
We're grooving
Nothing like roots reggae music
Now turn it up, I wanna lose it
Nothing like roots reggae music
Higher self-meditation
The music brings upon me
Mixed with the healing of the nation
Well, now that's all I need
'Cause it's the perfect combination
We're moving at our own speed
We're talking higher concentration
So keep it moving with me
Yeah let me tell you now
We're grooving
Nothing like roots reggae music
Now turn it up, I wanna lose it
Nothing like roots reggae music, oh oh
We're grooving
Nothing like roots reggae music
Now turn it up, I wanna lose it
Nothing like roots reggae music, yeah ay
We're grooving
Feel the vibes of the music, it's alright
Woah oh
'Cause when the music hold, ears filled all night
Yeah ay
You wanna jump, you wanna shout, you wanna skank
You wanna shout it all about
I'll let the whole world know
The music has got you, oh oh
We wanna move, we wanna groove
We wanna move, we wanna play it non-stop
We wanna move, we wanna groove
We wanna move, we wanna play it non-stop
Because you can't stop this feeling
You can't stop this groove
Can't stop this music
You can't kill this mood
Music in the message
The message in the music
Never leave sight, in the right time
It'll give light, well let me tell you now
We're grooving
Nothing like roots reggae music
Now turn it up, I wanna lose it
Nothing like roots reggae music, oh oh
We're grooving
Nothing like roots reggae music
Now turn it up, I wanna lose it
Nothing like roots reggae music
Oh oh, oh oh
Woah oh, woah oh
Oh oh, oh oh
Woah oh, oh oh, oh oh
Woah oh oh oh
Alright, we're moving
Grooving
We're grooving

Rebelution kicked off their โPeace of Mind Tourโ the day after the release, selling out shows at Phillyโs The Electric Factory, The Hollywood Palladium, Denverโs The Fillmore, The Fox Theater in Oakland and Hard Rock in Orlando, FL. The tour made stops in a total of 42 cities across the country.
Summer 2012 was spent supporting O.A.R on their Amphitheatre tour, headlining four amphitheaters in Florida as well as festival performances at Outside Lands, Hangout, Forecastle, Summer Camp, Summer Set, The Allman Broโs Peach Festival and two performances at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. After completing a Fall tour of the East and South East, Rebelution will be headlining The Hollywood Palladium on New Years Eve, heading to New Zealand for the Raggamuffins Festival in February and headlining their annual Winter Greens Tour around the USA in Feb - May 2013.
Peace of Mind marks the first time Rebelution has expanded beyond their usual self-production enlisting producers Michael Goldwasser (Easy Star All-Stars), Amp Live (Zion-I), Yeti Beats (Kool Keith, George Clinton), Keith Armstrong and Errol Brown (Stephen, Ziggy, Damian, and Bob Marley). The album builds upon the bandโs signature style while venturing into new musical genres from the lush strings incorporated into the gentle โRoute Aroundโ to the driving guitar and synths throughout โLady In Whiteโ.
Rebelution has developed into a front-runner for grassroots, independent and tour driven music groups. Originally formed in 2004, members Eric Rachmany (vocals / guitar), Rory Carey (keyboards), Wesley Finley (drums), and Marley D. Williams (bass) met in college, while residing in Isla Vista, a popular beachside community in Santa Barbara. It was there that the seeds to Rebelutionโs future were planted creating inspiring and engaging music that would leave their listeners with the sense that they have the power to make this world a better place. The band continuously tours across the country, ventured to South America and Europe, and has previously performed at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits among others.
