Rebelution kicked off their βPeace of Mind Tourβ the day after the release, selling out shows at Phillyβs The Electric Factory, The Hollywood Palladium, Denverβs The Fillmore, The Fox Theater in Oakland and Hard Rock in Orlando, FL. The tour made stops in a total of 42 cities across the country.
Summer 2012 was spent supporting O.A.R on their Amphitheatre tour, headlining four amphitheaters in Florida as well as festival performances at Outside Lands, Hangout, Forecastle, Summer Camp, Summer Set, The Allman Broβs Peach Festival and two performances at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. After completing a Fall tour of the East and South East, Rebelution will be headlining The Hollywood Palladium on New Years Eve, heading to New Zealand for the Raggamuffins Festival in February and headlining their annual Winter Greens Tour around the USA in Feb - May 2013.
Peace of Mind marks the first time Rebelution has expanded beyond their usual self-production enlisting producers Michael Goldwasser (Easy Star All-Stars), Amp Live (Zion-I), Yeti Beats (Kool Keith, George Clinton), Keith Armstrong and Errol Brown (Stephen, Ziggy, Damian, and Bob Marley). The album builds upon the bandβs signature style while venturing into new musical genres from the lush strings incorporated into the gentle βRoute Aroundβ to the driving guitar and synths throughout βLady In Whiteβ.
Rebelution has developed into a front-runner for grassroots, independent and tour driven music groups. Originally formed in 2004, members Eric Rachmany (vocals / guitar), Rory Carey (keyboards), Wesley Finley (drums), and Marley D. Williams (bass) met in college, while residing in Isla Vista, a popular beachside community in Santa Barbara. It was there that the seeds to Rebelutionβs future were planted creating inspiring and engaging music that would leave their listeners with the sense that they have the power to make this world a better place. The band continuously tours across the country, ventured to South America and Europe, and has previously performed at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits among others.

Settle Down Easy
Rebelution Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
I'll help you settle down easy
And when your day is through
I'll help you settle down easy
Nothing satisfies me
As much as when you're happy
It's true
Nobody does it like you do
And I would only tell the truth
You know I'm honest you look beautiful in blue
But all the colors bring the beauty out in you
And when you're running
Come run my way
I'll meet you halfway
And love you always
Hey baby
I'll meet you there
Hey, nothing compares to you
If you ever need the weight off you
I'll help you settle down easy
And when our days are few
I'll help you settle down easy
La la la
It wasn't by chance
A reason that we both crossed paths
La la la
It wasn't by chance
A reason that we both crossed paths
Nothing satisfies me
As much as when you're happy
It's true
Nobody does it like you do
And I would only tell the truth
You know I'm honest you look beautiful in blue
But all the colors bring the beauty out in you
And when you're running
Come run my way
I'll meet you halfway
And love you always
Hey baby
I'll meet you there
Hey, nothing compares to you
There will be a time when
I look into your eyes and say
I knew
That one day I would find you
And instantly just fall into
Nobody does it like you do
And I would only tell the truth
You know I'm honest you look beautiful in blue
But all the colors bring the beauty out in you
And when you're running
Come run my way
I'll meet you halfway
And love you always
Hey baby
I'll meet you there
Hey, nothing compares to you
Nobody does it like you do
And I would only tell the truth
You know I'm honest you look beautiful in blue
But all the colors bring the beauty out in you
And when you're running
Come run my way
I'll meet you halfway
And love you always
Hey baby
I'll meet you there
Cause nothing compares to you
The lyrics of Rebelution's "Settle Down Easy" speak to the idea of being there for someone through thick and thin. The song opens with an invitation to provide comfort and companionship to someone who needs it: "If you need someone to hold on to, I'll help you settle down easy." The singer is offering support and understanding, promising to be there whenever this person needs to unwind after a long day. The chorus repeats this promise in slightly different words: "And when your day is through, I'll help you settle down easy."
The second half of the song shifts from addressing the listener to discussing the singer's feelings about them. The singer declares that nothing satisfies them as much as seeing the person they care about happy, and acknowledges that this person is unique and special in their eyes: "Nobody does it like you do, and I would only tell the truth." They go on to compliment the person's appearance, emphasizing that they find beauty in every color of the person's being, and promise to always be there for them, no matter what: "I'll meet you halfway and love you always."
Overall, "Settle Down Easy" is a song about mutual support and care, and about valuing the unique qualities and beauty of the people in our lives.

Awe thatβs so sweet π₯² Iβd say Iβm so sorry for your loss. But I actually hate saying that when it comes to losing a loved one because itβs never a loss. Theyβre always there with you forever. So long as you remember and share about them.
