Running
Redgrass Lyrics

Leaving the fake, wasted space
Looking forward to a night of bliss
Lift my hand and feel the kiss
Cut the cork and tipped the bed
Missed the door and hit my head
Splashing away in my space
We're going to open up that guit-fiddle case
Improvise for the lack of sight
Helped inside to the question I said
I missed the door and hit my head
Mr. Honey Brown is making his way
St. Paul's Girl kissed me the other day
Rolling the rock across the floor
Forget my Bud, I don't want him no more
All these bitter friends of mine
Brought me past that crooked line
Reached down and fell like lead
Missed the door and hit my head
The song "Running" by Redgrass is a poetic narrative that narrates the story of a man who is leaving behind a fake and wasted space to come home to his upper-class place, where he anticipates a night of bliss. However, fate does not allow him to have it easy as he misses the door and hits his head in a drunk stupor. The man then bursts into wild creativity as he opens up his guit-fiddle case and starts improvising his music to enrich the crowd, despite his tearing pain.
As the song progresses, the man continues to metaphorically express the bitter-sweet parts of life, such as the moments when he misses his sour Bud and embraces the electrifying St. Paul's Girl instead. He also unravels upon the friends who push him past the crooked line that leads to his ultimate fall, making him hit his head once again. However, even amidst the darkest of his circumstances, the man remains an artist who continues to pour his heart out into his music and bring moments of joy to the crowd.
The song "Running" by Redgrass reflects on the beauty of art in the face of hardship and pain. Despite everything, the artist continues to find his solace in music, and that is the only thing that helps him to persevere forward. With its haunting melody and lyrical poetry, the song is a perfect ode to the human spirit that refuses to bow down in the face of adversity.

Something I found out by accident:
I used a Lock&Lock plastic box and some spongewilpes sold for the kitchen.
But because I couldn't find a pretty low one I needed to stack multiple dishwashing spongewipes on top of each other.
I first didn't like it. But in hindsight it was great!
Why?
I can decide my water level and therefore how much wetness gets through the parchment paper on top.
If I fill the box really high my colors stay very wet and separate over time.
If I fill it just a bit the colors stay pretty dry, nearwals a dry palette.
So basically I found by accident the optimal pallette where I can decide how much wezness exactly gets through the paper!

Latterlig god pris på masterson sin wet palette til Norge og. Kjøpte to. No gjenstår det berre å få motatt dei Kickstarter bystene dine so kan eg sette meg ned med min bedre halvdel og male :)
For all you non Scandinavians in the comment section: Ridiculous pricing on the Masterson wet palette to Norway as well. Bought two. Now all I have to is wait until the Kickstarter busts arrive so me and the SO can start painting :)

Random mini fig question. I got the necron learn to paint kit and it says the minis were “push fit” to assemble, when you make minis that are “push fit” do you still use glue to stick them in place? (I.e. other foot to base) Or is the “push fit” system only on the entry level minis for beginners.

Big tip on homemade wet palettes: upside down tupperware. I use the LID of a tupperware as base instead of the "box", so there are no tall walls getting in the way.

That's a really good idea, thank ya kindly for that.

Been doing this for a while now, the only problem is that the bigger size of the container means that the paints will dry out a bit more when storing. But otherwise works well.
