Redman's solo career continued throughout the remainder of the decade, with each of his albums selling at least half a million copies. His musical style has remained very consistent, rarely deviating from a combination of Redman's unique braggadocious wit and hard, P-funk-influenced beats. In addition to releasing albums under his own name, he is part of the group Def Squad (along with Keith Murray and Erick Sermon) with whom he released the 1998 album El Nino, and also has formed a close partnership with labelmate Method Man (of the Wu-Tang Clan) with whom he released the 1999 album Blackout!. The long-awaited follow-up, Blackout! 2, apeared in 2009.
He has also collaborated extensively, both with hip-hop artists and with artists from other genres; the long list of artists and groups he has worked with includes Wyclef Jean, Snoop Dogg, Scarface, The Offspring, Christina Aguilera, Eminem, Gorillaz, D'Angelo, Me'shell Ndegeocello, 2Pac, Jodeci, Cypress Hill, De La Soul, KRS One and IAM.
In 2001 Redman co-starred with Method Man in the stoner comedy film How High, which featured the pair playing two marijuana-addled students attempting to survive at Harvard. Method Man and Redman also appear in the Def Jam Vendetta video game series, often as Tag Team partners, and briefly had their own television sitcom, Method & Red, on Fox during the 2004-2005 season.
Redman is also featured on the video game "True Crime: New York City", in which the central character interacts with an undercover street cop based upon the rap star, who also provides the voice for him.

Look out, it's the Funkadelic Funk for chumps
Who don't be knowin my name, I tear the frame out ya punks
I make ya slide, make ya slip, make ya wanna backflip
I get biz with the skit, I DJ like Quik
The topnotch of the block, cause I carry a glock
Only hot rocks I'm hot, so give up the props
My style is HUMMIN CUMMIN ATCHA, duck or get backed up
So come on light the buddha check your honey while I scoop her
The Soopafly, Jimmy fly Snooka rips the roof off
Then hook off on your crew, to the check of one to two
It's you, who? (Aga-Ah! Wa!) Redman with the Kung-Fu
Come on and get down and boogie oogie with the ruffneck
Hit women like Madonna all the way down to Smurfette
But first get your tables I roast your whole record label kids
Yo E (Whassup G?) Bridge
'Press rewind if I haven't blown your mind'
'Press rewind if I haven't blown your mind'
I do the hustle like Russell, Rush the stage with Simmons
Deadly venom, makes me Poison like Michael Bivins
Or a cobra, pop more pop, than Coca-Cola
Next to Yoda I'm a Star at War, plus roller coaster
I got my mind made up GURRRRL, come on and get it if you widdit troop
Krush Groovin smooth as the lightning loops
The kind of loops I sample from a James Brown group
I give credit, cause I'm cautious, about lawsuits
PsychoBetaP-Funk, got styles hard as tree trunks
For real punk, you got a blunt, light it cause I need one
And get down with the irrelevant funk to make ya jump
With the fly human being, watch me freak it in Korean
Chu ri ka pi kyura mulla kara
Nu gu nya nada na na nun Redman
Na bo da challan nom hana do upda
Nah Duke, forget it
I rip shop in hip-hop I get props my lip rocks
The rap stuff's more spooky than movies from Hitchcock
Sit back relax let me rip to the funk track
And press rewind if I haven't blown your mind
'Press rewind if I haven't blown your mind'
'Press rewind if I'
HA-UHH, let me get busy with the funky fly stuff
'Cause I cut your freakin eyes, fuck Bruce Willis because I die rough
It's the Funkadelic Redman and I hit ya with the
Funkadelic level, the P-Funk, the devil
The spectular, Blackula, bust holes like Dracula
Loaded of course, more Legend than Acura
I'm swift, I like big spliffs so I tisk tisk a tasket
Plus keep the glock in my basket
I cough up a lung cause I freak it with the tongue
'Cause I can 'Wax on! Wax off!' like Daniel-son
Do the yea yea, boogey say up jump the boogey
To the boogey to the boogey thanks to E cause he hooked me
So fuck what ya heard, word to herb, cause I mack
Framalama, plus I kick the grammar, straight from -- NEW JERZ
It's the renegade rap Redman, really who rip rhymes in rough mode
Yo, hold your breath while I explode
'Press rewind if I haven't blown your mind'

"Blow Ya Mind" by Redman is a classic hip-hop song that was released in 1992 as part of his debut album "Whut? Thee Album." The verses mostly talk about the MC's skills on the mic and his ability to make the crowd go wild. Redman's unique and aggressive delivery, combined with the funky beat, makes the song an instant classic.
The lyrics start with Redman introducing himself as the "Funkadelic Funk for chumps." He boasts about his skills and how he can make anyone dance and jump around. He raps about his love for weed, guns, and women, with references ranging from Madonna to Yoda. The chorus is a catchy command for the listener to "press rewind if I haven't blown your mind."
The second verse again features Redman's attitude and boasts about his mic skills, name-dropping Russell Simmons and Michael Bivins. He references James Brown and acknowledges the importance of giving credit to the artists from whom he samples. He also throws in some Korean lyrics and finishes the verse with an invitation to "press rewind" if he hasn't already blown the listener's mind.
The final verse boasts about Redman's skills as a rapper and his ability to make people dance. He references Bruce Willis and Dracula and flexes his skills with wordplay and rhyming patterns. The song ends with a repetition of the chorus, urging the listener to "press rewind" to hear it all again.
