Rednex are also known for their several, controversial line-up changes. The group originally consisted of the Annika Ljungberg (Mary Joe), Kent Olander (Bobby Sue), Arne Arstrand (Ken Tacky), Jonas Nilsson (Billy Ray) and Patrick Edenberg (Mup). Edenberg would soon be replaced as a group member by Urban Landgren (BB Stiff). In 1996, female lead singer Annika Ljungberg was fired, partly due to disagreements with the other band members, and replaced by Mia Löfgren (Whippy). During the Farm Out era in 2000, Patrick Edenberg decided to shift the group's focus toward live entertainment, which led to a total rehaul of the line-up. All members of the group were replaced, bringing in Julie-Anne Tulley (Scarlet), Anders Sandberg (Dagger), Roy van der Haagen (Joe Cgg) and Jean-Paul Engeln (Jay Lee) instead. Roster changes continued to plague the group, with Roy van den Haagen and Jean-Paul Engeln leaving in 2003. They were replaced by Tor Pentén (Ace Ratclaw) and Björn Scheffler (Boneduster Crock). A year later, Julie-Anne Tulley parted ways with Rednex.
A decade after leaving the group, original female lead singer Annika Ljungberg returned to Rednex in 2006 and was assigned exclusive rights to license the Rednex trademark until the end of 2008. She replaced Björn Scheffler with her husband, Jens Sylsjö (Snake), and Anders Sandberg with Anders Lundström (Maverick). On 1 January 2009, when Annika Ljungberg's management licence expired, control of the Rednex brand returned to the founders of the group. All members of the group were fired by the returning management following a dispute, and were replaced by members of Rednex Tribute, who were all themselves former members of Rednex.
In January 2012, Rednex announced that they had shelved the concept of a permanent line-up. Instead, the group now uses a larger pool of characters, from which one female and three male performers are chosen for each performance, depending on the location and the availability of the members.

And I'm heading into nowhere
The sun is showing me the way,
I'm riding alone
I'm looking for adventure,
'Cause I left my girl in Texas
I'm a stranger and I'm riding alone
And I'm heading into nowhere
The sun is showing me the way,
I'm riding alone
I'm looking for adventure,
'Cause I left my girl in Texas
I'm a stranger and I'm riding alone
(woo-hoo!)
My baby's on his way
And he's got nowhere to stay
And I wonder what he's thinking on his own
He's promised me his heart
And he says he really loves me
And I'll marry him as soon he's
Coming home
I'm riding in the desert
And I'm heading into nowhere
The sun is showing me the way,
I'm riding alone
I'm looking for adventure,
'Cause I left my girl in Texas
I'm a stranger and I'm riding alone
Working as a waitress,
The saloon is never empty
I got so many suitors all around
Although some are very handsome,
They will never get my hand
Because I'm waiting for my cowboy
To come home (woo-hoo!)
Woo-hoo!
Woo-hoo!
Wooo!
I'm riding in the desert
And I'm heading into nowhere
The sun is showing me the way,
I'm riding alone
I'm looking for adventure,
'Cause I left my girl in Texas
I'm a stranger and I'm riding alone
Woo-hoo!
Hey, hey, hey
He's riding in the desert
And he's heading into nowhere
The sun is showing him the way,
He's riding alone
He's looking for adventure,
'Cause he's left his girl in Texas
He's a stranger and he's riding alone
I'm riding in the desert
And I'm heading into nowhere
The sun is showing me the way,
I'm riding alone
I'm looking for adventure,
'Cause I left my girl in Texas
I'm a stranger and I'm riding alone
The lyrics to Rednex's song "Riding Alone" tell the story of a cowboy who is riding aimlessly in the desert, searching for adventure after leaving his girl behind in Texas. He is a stranger to the area, and he is riding with no particular destination in mind. The sun is his guide, and he is looking to satisfy his thirst for excitement and new experiences. The cowboy's lover is also mentioned in the lyrics, waiting for him to return so they can get married. The mention of the saloon and the many suitors vying for the waitress's hand gives a bit of a subplot to the story, but the focus remains on the cowboy's journey and his yearning for adventure.
The lyrics are relatively straightforward, but they do convey a sense of restlessness, wanderlust, and an appetite for freedom. The desert can be seen as a metaphor for the cowboy's inner landscape, a vast and open space where he can explore his desires and find his true self. The fact that he is riding alone adds to the sense of isolation and self-reliance, as he has no one to depend on but himself.
Overall, "Riding Alone" is a classic country song that celebrates the spirit of the cowboy and the allure of the open road. It's a song about the pursuit of happiness, even if that pursuit is littered with challenges and risks.

Rednex - Sex and Violins is one the few albums I own that has ZERO bad songs on it.
And that is rare.
Sure just about all albums have a good song or two, But to have nothing but good songs on it is bloody rare.
Other albums with zero bad songs on them are.
Roxette - Joyride
Daft Punk - Interstellar 555
Mike Oldfield - Tubular Bells II
Jeff Wayne - War of the worlds
I absolutely LOVE QUEEN but sadly even they failed to make an album with zero bad numbers on it (compilation albums do not qualify for my list)
