What I'd really like to hear is Chopin's music played on an historic instrument (Pleyel, Erard, or Graf) tuned in Marpurg I, which was supposed to be his favorite temperament.

It sounds awful...i have those historic pianos on my Pianoteq VSTi and they sound awful compared to more modern pianos.
Also heard them on 1st Chopin International Historical Piano Competition.
Same result, to me they sound awful, except for maybe some newer Erard.
