Let your heart be light
From now on our troubles will be out of sight
Have yourself a merry little Christmas
Make the Yuletide gay
From now on our troubles will be miles away
Happy golden days of Yore
Faithful friends who are dear to us
Gather near to us once more
Through the years we all will be together
If the fates allow
Hang a shining star upon the highest bough
And have yourself a merry little Christmas now
Through the years we all will be together
If the fates allow
Hang a shining star upon the highest bough
And have yourself a merry little Christmas now
The song "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" by Relient K is a classic holiday tune that calls for the listener to let go of all their worries and enjoy the spirit of the season. The song starts by urging the listener to have a merry little Christmas and to let their heart be light. It's an invitation to embrace the positive emotions that the holidays can bring and to forget any problems or issues that might be weighing heavily on them.

It's a nostalgic moment that captures the essence of the holidays as a time to reflect on the people and memories that matter most to us.
The song closes with a hopeful message, promising that through the years, we will all be together if the fates allow. It's a reminder that the holiday season is a time to reconnect with loved ones and to cherish the time we have together.
