They still often reference their Christian faith throughout their songs.

Relient K Lyrics

Savannah
Savannah
Savannah
mmmmm
Savannah
Savannah
mmmmm
The lyrics to Relient K's song "Oasis" may seem simple and repetitive, with the repeated use of the word "Savannah" and a few mmm's, but this song has a deeper meaning. The song provides a sense of longing and yearning for something more, for an escape from current circumstances. The city of Savannah could represent this escape, a place to go where one can leave behind their problems and worries. It could also represent a person or a feeling, a symbol of hope and a reminder of something better.
The repetition of the word "Savannah" also represents a sense of fixation, almost as if the person singing the song cannot stop thinking of this place or feeling. The mmm's could symbolize a sense of exhaustion or a sigh, as if the person singing is tired of their current situation and is desperately searching for a change.
Overall, "Oasis" serves as a reminder that sometimes we all need a break from our current circumstances and that there is always hope for something better. The lyrics may seem simple, but they hold a powerful message.
