Remedy Drive Lyrics

No life, no death could stand in the way
It's a rushing wind, it's a rising tide
It's the flood within that I cannot hide
One song, one voice, one word
That can drown out all the noise
Glory, with every breath I breathe I'm singing
Glory, with every breath I breathe I'm singing
Listen, the drum beat echoes the call
The darkness runs from the sound of it all
So I sing it out from the top of my lungs
It's an ancient song but it's just begun
Glory, with every breath I breathe I'm singing glory
With everything in me I'm bringing glory to You
Glory, with every breath I breathe I'm singing
Let it be the only song I sing, glory
Let it be an anthem for the King, glory
The lyrics of Remedy Drive's song, Glory, celebrates the majesty of God and His worthiness to receive praise and adoration. The song emphasizes the greatness of God that cannot be contained by any human measure or obstacle. The opening lines convey a sense of awe and wonder at the infiniteness and power of God. The song acknowledges that everything in life, including life and death, is subject to the sovereignty of God.
The second verse speaks of the transformative power of the song. The drumbeat echoes the call to worship and the darkness flees from the sound of it. The song is ancient like God Himself but it is just beginning to take form in the heart of the singer. The chorus reiterates the intention of the singer to bring glory to God with every breath, with every part of their being. The song becomes an anthem for the King and the only song the singer wants to sing.
Overall, the song focuses on the greatness of God and the singer's desire to worship and bring glory to Him. It is a powerful anthem that reminds listeners of the supremacy of God and His ability to transform lives through the power of worship.
