Even this much is uncertain (at least according to what I've read). I don't think it's ever been substantiated that the bass line is Albinoni's. (There's a chance it's from a manuscript lost in WWII.)

@Bruce Fox Even if Giazotto started from a bit of Vivaldi's work, he made something really great from it.


...based on a lost sonata attributed to albinoni. The same melody is found in Andante moderato from Carl Stamitz (18th century) .
