Thank you for uploading this Pink Floyd compilation. I'm an old man -- 81 -- but never got tuned in to Pink Floyd until 8 or 9 years ago. When my son Kelly was young (he's now 52) he was a huge Pink Floyd fan and he used to ask me to listen to them; I always said "No, I don't want to hear that noise!" Then, after my beautiful wife, his mother, Sharon died due to cancer, 11 years ago this coming March 27th, he came to live with me and be my principal caregiver -- one day he asked me to listen to something on his ipod ... it was a song; he asked, "What do you think?" and I said, "These guys are really good -- I like this," and he told me it was Pink Floyd. I said, "And I put them down all those years ago when you wanted me to hear them; look at what I missed; I owe you an apology." I've been a Pink Floyd fan since then -- I've also watched 2 Pink Floyd tribute bands on t-v specials, and while they're good, they're not the original! I'm a big blues and soft jazz fan, and I find no conflict in also liking Pink Floyd -- the musicianship and singing are tremendous! Blessings to you in all that you do!! Rev. Doug Deegan (ret'd.)

Wow this is an incredible mix and has introduced to some PF song's I didn't even know existed. Absolutely iconic music, it's amazing someone was actually gifted with such a talent to write masterpiece after masterpiece.My Dad first introduced me to Pink Floyd when we used to drive around in the car a lot and his car was capable of MP3 which he was amazed about. He told me to listen very carefully to the lyrics because a lot of it is true. As a moody teenager I disregarded that information and told him to put Arctic Monkeys back on. It is only now that my Dad sadly passed, that the lyrics seem to have a much larger and impactful meaning on me and remind me of him and us, in the car listening to things we loved feeling time slowly go by. There will always be something about driving and listening to Pink Floyd to me now which makes me feel that I am not alone.

I have been meaning to say a massive thanks for putting this together. It’s a fantastic sequence of Floyd songs. I first heard the Floyd when I was 9, 45 years ago and I have listened to them every week since then. Whenever I need to get into the zone to concentrate and worki put this on. It just flows so brilliantly. It’s not only awesome but it just makes you realise they were in a league of their own. No one comes close.

To this very day, every time I hear any song from Dark Side of the Moon, it reminds me of traveling through the rockies after a Christmas visit to my grandmothers in 1975. I got the 8 track tape of Dark Side of the Moon and my brothers and I would listen to it with the fade all the way to the back of our 1972 Grand Prix. From the Columbia River Gorge down through the Rockies, Floyd was jamming! Funny how music can instantly take you to another place and time. Life is short!

Excellent! Reminds me of OGWT when they played tracks before bands made their own vids.
What occurs to me having your playlist echo around the lounge is how strongly the guitar playing comes across. Gilmour has such a passionate feel to complement the platform the others have made, the lyrics, the keys, percussion, production... few stand out so timelessly homogeneous. But then they were painstaking over their works. And so many memories attached to each album, landmarks in a life.

I started listening to Dark Side of the moon when I was 10 years old, back in 1977. I got it on 8 track for Christmas that year, The Wall too. I used to fall asleep to it every night. About the same time my childhood night terrors ended. I think there is a connection! This medley is just awesome!!!

Being a musician, y'all will find MY "discovery" of Pink Floyd odd, I think. Reading Rolling Stone cover to cover, I was curious as to why DSOTM stayed in the number one position for so many years, so I went out and bought the album. Been a fan ever since.
