ex and current members of Never Relaxed, Crutch, She Has Fallen
2) Repeat Offender formed in August 03 and since then have steadily worked at destroying all they deem evil, from Australian Idol to the Crazy Frog.
Never will you see such energy, musicianship, interpretive dance (!) and blatant disregard for personal safety in one exciting stage show. As an independent and self managed band, REPEAT OFFENDER built a name for themselves by playing over 120 shows in less than two years on the SE QLD music circuit ranging from small pub gigs, to a sold out Taste Of Chaos show at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre.
As winners of both the 2004 Coca Cola / Dreamworld ROCKSTAR competition and the 2005 QLD rock awards, these 5 young men from Brisbane, Australia are a truly unique bunch to witness live.
Ryan Wilson (Lead Vocals)
Steven Childs (Rhythm Guitar/Vocals)
Joel Arnold (Lead Guitar)
Dane Karolak (Drums)
Matt Newton (Bass Guitar)
The band pride themselves on a dynamic live show, something Matt Newton believes a lot of their contemporaries are lacking.
"We all hate going to see a show where the whole band just stand there and look bored," he says. "There's nothing more satisfying than not being able to move the day after a show. I think a big thing a lot of local bands are missing is a good frontman/woman, and we are fortunate enough to have two, so that makes life a whole lot more entertaining."
REPEAT OFFENDER have recently signed to Modern Music / Sony BMG and their debut EP "To a modern love..." will be available nationally from May 8th 2006.
I'm Yours

The one thing she needs now to tak her mind,
The one thing that made her say goodbye.
Reflections, reflecting,
That shivier feeling embraced tonight,
You compound torment with these lies.
Colliding passage as she finds peace in an ordinary book,
She highlights.
Her patience, her patience, this patience is waiting for the lie,
Voices all around screaming she'not blind,
'Cause everything she feels is dying,
And everything she knows is over too.
She waits forever, and today she waits to feel this once again,
She waits to tell somebody else...
I'm yours, I'm yours, I'm yours, Yours.
This place, this house, this home all in a bag of memories,
She's alone, she's alone.
This burden, of blaming,
Pointing the finger, she's gotta turn away, turn away,
'Cause everything she feels is dying...
She waits forever, and today, She waits to feel this once again,
She waits to tell somebody else...
I'm yours, I'm yours, I'm yours, Yours...
Ah-oh-oh-oh (x3)
I'm yours, I'm yours, I'm yours, Yours...
Reflections, reflecting,
Distractions, distraction.
I am yours, Yours.
She waits forever, and today, she waits to feel this once again,
She waits forever, and today, she waits to feel this once again,
You compound your torment with these lies,
You compound your torment with these lies.
The lyrics of the song "I'm Yours" by Repeat Offender are about a woman who is struggling to cope with a breakup. She needs a distraction to take her mind off of the pain, but all of the distractions she's tried so far have only made the pain worse. She is reflecting on her feelings and trying to find peace in an ordinary book.
The chorus of the song, "I'm Yours," repeats throughout the song, signifying the woman's desire to find someone else to love and to be loved by in return. She is waiting for someone to come into her life and fill the void that was left behind by her ex. The lyrics also touch on the burden of blaming and pointing fingers in a relationship, indicating that both parties may have had a role in the breakup.
Overall, the song is a poignant commentary on the pain of heartbreak and the search for love and healing.
