With their first three full-length albums 'Sve što vidim je prvi put' (Odličan Hrčak, 2008), 'Dobrodošli na okean' (Moonlee Records, 2012) and 'Gde ćeš' (Moonlee Records, 2016) Repetitor have gained highest critical acclaim, toped the lists, and are praised with fans, but where they really built their reputation is their high-octane energetic live performances. Repetitor's fourth studio album 'Prazan prostor među nama koji može i da ne postoji' is out on November 20th for Moonlee Records.
Repetitor have a very recognisable "signature sound" that mashes together a blend of heavy rock 'n roll, post-punk and everything in between. All topped with an angry, forceful message that deals with the state of their world, and what they want to do about it. Attempts to find a direct musical influence may prove to be a difficult task, but some will recognise similarities with variety of bands, from Stooges. Early Mudhoney, Šarlo Akrobata, Fugazi, Sonic Youth, Pixies and early Nirvana all the way to Black Sabbath or even Suicide.
"They make you fall in love with guitar rock all over again and are arguably the best guitar band on the planet right now. They are the 21st Century Nirvana who have come to save rock." (John Robb, Louder Then War)

stojiš tu i gledaš me ja te ne prepoznajem
kažeš sve u redu je moram da ti verujem
doručak me smiruje zato ga i preskačem
The lyrics of "Ogledalo" by Repetitor are quite cryptic, but they seem to suggest a sense of disconnection and confusion between two people. The verse "izgubilo se značenje svake reči prethodne" (the meaning of every previous word has been lost) suggests that communication has broken down between the singer and the person they are addressing, and that they no longer understand each other. The second line of the verse, "stojiš tu i gledaš me ja te ne prepoznajem" (you stand there and look at me, I don't recognize you), adds to this sense of alienation and distance.
The chorus, "kažeš sve u redu je moram da ti verujem" (you say everything is fine, I have to believe you), highlights the tension between what appears to be going on on the surface and the underlying sense of unease and uncertainty. The line "doručak me smiruje zato ga i preskačem" (breakfast calms me down so I skip it) further suggests a sense of anxiety and disorientation.
The second verse contains the same phrases as the first verse, but with a key difference: the final line, "gledam svojim očima polako se oslobađam" (I'm watching with my own eyes, slowly freeing myself), suggests that the singer is starting to see things more clearly and shake off their confusion. However, the final line of the song is "svaki novi dan na prozoru, sve je manje ljudi koji vole" (every new day at the window, there are fewer people who love), suggesting that the sense of disconnection and loneliness may be a pervasive and ongoing theme.
Overall, "Ogledalo" seems to be a song about the difficulties of communication and the challenges of understanding oneself and others. The imagery of the mirror (ogledalo) suggests that the song is also concerned with the idea of reflection and self-examination.
