Reset was formed in 1995 in Montreal, Quebec. Originally the band members were Pierre Bouvier, Philippe Jolicoeur, Charles-André "Chuck" Comeau and Jean-Sébastien Boileau. Reset recorded a demo tape : Concerned, in 1995.
Then came the first full length album: No Worries in 1997 recorded at Le Studio Morin-Heights. The band shot a video clip for the single “Why”. In 1999 Reset had a different line up. Pierre was now singing and playing bass, and a new member, Adrian White from Vancouver, joined to play drums with the punk rock band based out of Montreal. In 2000 they released No Limits. This album was recorded in Vancouver BC and was produced by Greg Reely.
Three video clips were filmed for No Limits: Pollution, Pressure, My Dream and I. David Desrosiers replaced Pierre Bouvier in 2001 but only to stay with the band for 6 months, leaving to join Simple Plan, already consisting of two previous band members, Pierre Bouvier and Chuck Comeau.
In 2004, Reset came back with a third album : Radioactive. The album was produced, performed, mixed and mastered by Philippe Jolicoeur. The next year in 2005 RESET has a new line-up with Phil (guitars & vocals) Martin Gendreau (drums) and Claude Plamondon (bass & vocals).
Over the years Reset has participated in five Canadian tours and one American tour, the 2000 Vans Warped Tour in North America. Reset has played with bands such as Greenday, Nofx, Pennywise, Lagwagon, MxPx, Millencolin, Strung Out, Face To Face, Papa Roach, Ten Foot Pole and many more.

Moonlight
Reset Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
I just wanna breathe
Take a second of your precious time
Close your eyes
I'll bring you to paradise
Have you ever danced
With the devil in the night
I'll bring you to paradise
I'll take you to paradise
I just can't believe
Politicians lead a vast
Campaign of horror
Close your eyes
I'll bring you to paradise
I'll take you to paradise
Have you ever danced
With the devil in the night
In a pale moonlight
Close your eyes
I'll bring you to paradise
I'll take you to paradise
The lyrics of Reset's song "Moonlight" appear to be a commentary on the darkness that exists in the world and an invitation to escape from it. The first verse starts with the singer expressing their disbelief at something, which could be a reference to any number of negative things in the world. They then go on to say that they just want to breathe, perhaps indicating a sense of suffocation or overwhelming stress. At this point, the singer implores the listener to take a moment to close their eyes and be transported to paradise, which could refer to either an actual physical location or a state of mind.
The second verse of the song takes a darker turn, as the singer asks if the listener has ever danced with the devil in the night, a metaphor for engaging in something dangerous or morally questionable. Again, the singer encourages the listener to close their eyes and be taken to paradise, suggesting that perhaps the "devil" in question represents the darker aspects of the world that the singer is trying to escape from. The final lines of the song bring in a political element, with the singer condemning politicians who lead campaigns of horror.
Overall, the lyrics of "Moonlight" seem to be both a warning about the dangers of the world and a call to escape from them. The repeated invitation to enter paradise, coupled with the references to dancing with the devil, create a sense of urgency and tension that is mirrored in the song's driving beat and eerie electronic instrumentation.

Dokładnie zgadzam się z moją przedmówczynią. Szkoda Moonlight. Ale cóż dużo zespołów schodzi na dno :-) Może po to aby wrócić ponownie do korzeni ?
