Their first record, "República de Ciegos" was produced by Vernon Reid (Living Colour). On their third album, Pato Machete from Control Machete took over the vocal responsibilities, arguably with mixed results. He's no longer a member of Resorte.

Figth for the human rigths
Against the mother / fuckers
The lyrics to Resorte's song "Exodus" deal with themes of social justice and rebellion against oppression. The opening line "movement of jah people" references the Rastafarian belief in the divinity of Haile Selassie, who is often referred to as "Jah". The Rastafari movement has a strong political and social justice component, which is reflected in the rest of the song.
The next line, "fight for the human rights", is a call to action to resist those who would trample on the basic rights of individuals. The final line, "against the mother/fuckers", is a clear expression of rage towards those who would oppress others. The use of profanity underscores the intensity of the feeling behind the song.
