Hima-hima-hima-hima-hima-himalaya
Erről álmodozunk minden éjjel pizsamában
Hima-hima-hima-hima-hima-himalaya
Lelkiismeretem az ami még hazavárna
Lábaid mozognak, lábaid mozognak
Túravezetők mögöttem egyfolytában zokognak
Eltűnt minden
Ugyanúgy nincsen túl sok levegő, atyaúristen
Trap trap trap trap úristen
Sietek fel hozzád a hóban (úristen)
Trap trap trap trap
Úgysem leszek addigra józan
Hima-hima-hima-hima-hima-himalaya
Erről álmodozunk minden éjjel pizsamában
Hima-hima-hima-hima-hima-himalaya
Lelkiismeretem az ami még hazavárna
Hallottam esésnél
Ásítottál, úgy rám ragadt
Hallottam esésnél
Kiakasztottad az álladat
Trap trap trap trap úristen
Sietek fel hozzád a hóban (úristen)
Trap trap trap trap
Úgysem leszek addigra józan
Hima-hima-hima-hima-hima-himalaya
Erről álmodozunk minden éjjel pizsamában
Hima-hima-hima-hima-hima-himalaya
Lelkiismeretem az ami még hazavárna
Sietek fel hozzád a hóban
Úgysem leszek addigra józan
Sietek fel hozzád a hóban
Úgysem leszek addigra józan
The song "Himalaya" by Ress is a melancholic yet uplifting song about dreams, aspirations, and the struggles that come with them. The constant repetition of "Hima-hima-hima-hima-hima-himalaya" in the chorus is an almost hypnotic call to reach for the highest peaks, both physically and metaphorically. The first verse talks about how we dream of reaching the Himalayas in our pajamas every night, symbolizing the longing for a better life, a higher purpose, and the willingness to leave behind everything that's holding us back. The line "Lelkiismeretem az ami még hazavárna" means "My conscience is what would still be waiting for me at home," indicating that while the journey to the top of the mountain might be fulfilling, there's a sense of guilt or unfinished business that needs to be addressed sooner or later.
The second verse describes the physical hardships of climbing the mountain, with tour guides crying behind the singer and a lack of oxygen making it hard to breathe. However, the desire to reach the top is still strong and consuming, with the repetition of "Trap trap trap trap" emphasizing the urgency and determination. The bridge is a moment of reflection, where the singer hears someone yawning and opening their mouth wide, as if symbolizing the awe and wonder of being in the presence of something greater than themselves.
Overall, "Himalaya" is a deeply emotional song that speaks to the human desire for growth, exploration, and adventure. It reminds us that while the journey might be tough, the rewards are immeasurable, and there's a sense of peace and fulfillment waiting for us at the top of our own personal mountains.
