They were among Norways best selling bands in the late 80s/early 90s, but decided to split up in 1993. The four original members came together in 2001 and released an "best of"-album and also played some concerts, before they released a brand new album in 2005.

Since their foundation, Return has been playing classic 80s rock with a great deal of power ballads.

Yes, I long for those days so much. I was born in 63...it was a great time to be young in the 70's. Music, tv, playing outside constantly, riding bikes was everything with your friends. Kick ball, Basketball, hoola hoops, pogo sticks., Jump rope etc... my grandkids just like being on their devices... Times have really changed. Sad.

The best thing I remember about the 70s was the music, which I still listen to today. Most of the TV Shows from the 70s, I can no longer watch. I grew up during the 70s loving the Brady Bunch, Partridge Family etc. But I find many of those shows Korny today, and they no longer appeal to me. But I would still will watch Room 222 because many of the issues that show dealt with are still relevent today. I also would still watch Love American Style and the Odd Couple and Three's Company. The rest of the Sitcoms of the 70s I can no longer watch. I will still watch old episodes of Columbo every now and then. But for the most part, it was the music from the 70s that still stays with me, I leave pretty much everything else in the past.

I had a teacher in 7th grade just like Mr. Kotter. He was so much fun, and all the kids loved him. He made learning fun. W e also felt more like friends then students. We all even went over to his house to help him move once. I love this show, it reminds me of the best teacher I ever had.

After it was all said and done he said if I told he would kill my family. A few years later he taken by what we now know as the AIDS epidemic. So I guess I kinda win in the end. Disgusting Bastard.

My mother introduced this show to me in 1991, she was 35 and I was 11. It was during a marathon showing on TBS , I believe. I again started watching it in 1995 when one of the many cable channels started playing in 5 days a week. We'll, my mother has passed. I will always lovingly remember my mother whenever I hear this sing or watch the show.

This classic theme song was written by singer/songwriter John Sebastian in 1976. It reach # 1 on the 100 billboard chart. As the story goes, when he got the job to come up with a theme song for the new show "Welcome back carter" , he told the producers of the show that he would have a hard time trying to find a rhyme for CARTER. The producers told him to not to worry about it, just give us the best you got. As you can hear he knock it out the park. It is one of my all time favorite theme songs.

i heard this song in that applebee’s ad. i wondered why it sounded so familiar and then it hit me. this was the sound of the minute bell at my high school at the beginning of the school year. i had just transferred from a public charter 8-12 school to a traditional 9-12 public highschool as a new sophomore. the dualities of both schools rlly hit me as soon as i step foot on campus. i made so many friends this school year, more than i’ve ever made. i also had terrible anxiety last year and i often found myself in the bathroom crying. i’m doing fine now but this song reminds me of how stressful, annoying but joyful school was.. it almost feels nostalgic. i really do miss school at times, especially my friends. hopefully this pandemic simmers down soon.

edit: i believe it’s tradition to play this song at the beginning of every school year.

John Sebastian had just one of the smoothest singing voices ever. It was truly flawless. The lyrics to this song just bring back so many 'memories of my youth. Makes me sad how time has flown by. George Bernard Shaw was so right. "Youth is wasted on the young".

When this song came out (1976?) it blew me away, such a great production. John Sebastian was such a good composer and singer. His talent extended way beyond The Lovin' Spoonful (as wonderful as they were).
