In this song, Return's singer is looking into the mirror and sees his own reflection as his enemy. He wishes that he had someone by his side to share the joys and sorrows with, someone he could trust and count on. He realizes that the truth is hard to accept and every day it becomes harder to deal with it. The singer is hoping that his lover will come back to him and take his heart and heal it. He desperately needs his lover to help him start feeling again. The singer knows that he has made mistakes and left his lover waiting on the cold road. Now he is the one suffering, bleeding inside. He is begging his lover to make up her mind, to come and heal his heart, to make him feel alive once again.
