In 1999, Morgan and Marty Sampson formed "United Live". Darlene Zschech, the worship pastor of Hillsong (1995-2007), had suggested to Morgan that they make an album with the youth worship team and, in 1999, they made their debut album called Everyday with Morgan and Sampson leading the team. Morgan continued to make four more albums with United Live until 2002. He decided that it was time for him to leave the group and pass the torch on to the next generation. His last album with Hillsong United, for the band name changed when he left, was To the Ends of the Earth. Replacing him as a worship leader of Hillsong United was Joel Houston, the son of the senior pastor of Hillsong, Brian Houston.
In 2005, Morgan signed with Rocketown Records, owned by Michael W. Smith. The company released his debut album in the United States, but four of the original songs were removed in favour of cover versions of Hillsong songs written by Morgan. In addition, the remaining songs were remixed and the resulting songs had a heavier feel when compared to the softer adult contemporary-style originals.
Morgan has toured extensively around the United States, Canada and Europe. His latest album, Everyone, contains Morgan's personal interpretation of his music and was mostly written in the previous 18 months, recorded in a big sounding, studio worship version without the congregational elements of live worship. Mainly featuring covers of previously released Hillsong songs written by Morgan, it was released in Australia on 2 October 2006.
Morgan officially became Hillsong's new worship pastor in 2008, replacing Darlene Zschech. He is married to Sarah and they have two children.
Let Us Adore
Reuben Morgan Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
And all of the world will join the praise
His wonders proclaim
The oceans and skies, lift up their voice
And all he has made will rise to bless
The King of all Kings...
Let us adore Him
Jesus Christ is the Lord...
Eternity's King is coming again
Through all of the earth will fade away
His truth will remain...
Let us adore Him
Let us adore Him
Jesus Christ is the Lord
Come and behold Him
Bow down before Him
Jesus Christ is the Lord...
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
You are worthy alone of all praise...
The lyrics of the song Let Us Adore by Reuben Morgan talk about the glory and wonder of God's creation. The heavens and the world join together to praise the Lord, as everything in the universe is a testimony of His greatness. The oceans and the skies lift up their voice and all of God's creation rises to bless and honor the King of all Kings. The lyrics invite us to adore Him, to bow down before Him, as Jesus Christ is the Lord.
The song also speaks of the second coming of Christ. Amidst the chaos and turmoil of the world, the truth of the Lord will remain. The song reminds us that Jesus Christ is the Lord, and we should come and behold Him, bow down before Him, and give Him all the adoration and praise that He deserves. The lyrics end with Hallelujah, as we realize that God alone is worthy of all praise and honor.
Overall, Let Us Adore is a touching and inspiring song that encourages us to acknowledge and appreciate the beauty of God's creation, and to worship Jesus Christ as the Lord. The lyrics remind us that no matter how much the world changes, the truth of the Lord will always remain, and He alone is deserving of all our praise and adoration.
