In 1999, Morgan and Marty Sampson formed "United Live". Darlene Zschech, the worship pastor of Hillsong (1995-2007), had suggested to Morgan that they make an album with the youth worship team and, in 1999, they made their debut album called Everyday with Morgan and Sampson leading the team. Morgan continued to make four more albums with United Live until 2002. He decided that it was time for him to leave the group and pass the torch on to the next generation. His last album with Hillsong United, for the band name changed when he left, was To the Ends of the Earth. Replacing him as a worship leader of Hillsong United was Joel Houston, the son of the senior pastor of Hillsong, Brian Houston.
In 2005, Morgan signed with Rocketown Records, owned by Michael W. Smith. The company released his debut album in the United States, but four of the original songs were removed in favour of cover versions of Hillsong songs written by Morgan. In addition, the remaining songs were remixed and the resulting songs had a heavier feel when compared to the softer adult contemporary-style originals.
Morgan has toured extensively around the United States, Canada and Europe. His latest album, Everyone, contains Morgan's personal interpretation of his music and was mostly written in the previous 18 months, recorded in a big sounding, studio worship version without the congregational elements of live worship. Mainly featuring covers of previously released Hillsong songs written by Morgan, it was released in Australia on 2 October 2006.
Morgan officially became Hillsong's new worship pastor in 2008, replacing Darlene Zschech. He is married to Sarah and they have two children.
Mighty To Save
Reuben Morgan Lyrics

Love that’s never failing
Let mercy fall on me
Everyone needs forgiveness
The kindness of a Saviour
The hope of nations
Saviour
For my God is mighty to save
He is mighty to save
Forever
Author of salvation
He rose and conquered the grave
Jesus conquered the grave
So take me as You find me
All my fears and failures
Fill my life again
I give my life to follow
Everything I believe in
Now I surrender
Shine Your light and
Let the whole world see
We’re singing
For the glory of the risen King
Jesus
The lyrics to Reuben Morgan's song "Mighty To Save" speak of the universal need for compassion, forgiveness, and a Saviour. The first verse acknowledges that everyone needs these things, and asks for mercy to be extended to oneself. The chorus then declares that God is mighty enough to move mountains, and that Jesus is the author of salvation who conquered the grave. The second verse continues with a personal plea for God to take the singer as they are, with all their flaws and shortcomings, and to fill their life again. The singer then makes a bold declaration of surrender, giving their life to follow everything they believe in.
The song overall conveys a sense of awe and reverence for God's power and grace. It acknowledges the universal human need for redemption and salvation, and celebrates the fact that Jesus is capable of fulfilling that need. The imagery of God being "mighty to save" and "moving mountains" suggests a sense of true power and strength that is beyond human comprehension.
Overall, "Mighty To Save" is a powerful and uplifting worship song that speaks to the heart of the human condition and offers hope for redemption and salvation through faith in Jesus.
