I've had some good days
There have been days where things have gone well for me.

I've had some hills to climb
There have also been days where I've had significant obstacles to overcome.

I've had some weary days
I've experienced fatigue and exhaustion on some days.

And some sleepless nights
There have been times where I have struggled to find rest and sleep.

But when I look around
Despite these challenges, when I take a moment to observe my surroundings

And I think things over
And reflect on my life

All of my good days
I realize that the number of positive experiences I have had

Outweigh my bad days
Far exceeds the number of challenging days I've encountered.

I won't complain
Therefore, I choose not to complain or dwell on negativity.

Sometimes the clouds are low
At times, I feel like I cannot see what lies ahead due to difficult circumstances.

I can hardly see the road
I struggle to find direction and guidance.

I ask a question, Lord
I seek answers and guidance from a higher power.

Lord, why so much pain?
I question why there is so much struggle and difficulty in life.

But he knows what's best for me
However, I believe that God has a greater plan for my life and knows what is best for me.

Although my weary eyes
Even though it is difficult for me to see

They can't see
I must trust that my faith and belief in God's plan will guide me.

So I'll just say thank you Lord
Instead of complaining, I will show gratitude and appreciation for what I do have.

Has been so good to me
God has blessed me in many ways.

He's been good to me
God has shown me kindness and generosity.

More than this old world
In fact, God's goodness surpasses the goodness that the world has to offer.

Or you could ever be
And surpasses the goodness that any person could ever provide.

He dried all of my tears away
God has comforted me and provided emotional healing during difficult times.

Turned my midnights into day
God has brought light and hope into dark times in my life.

I've been lied on
I have experienced people spreading false information about me.

But thank you Lord
Despite this, I am still grateful to God.

I've been talked about
People have discussed me in negative ways.

But thank you Lord
Regardless, I still choose to show gratitude to God.

I've been misunderstood
There are times when people do not understand my perspective or intentions.

But thank you Lord
Still, I choose to focus on the positive and show thankfulness to God.

You might be sick
Others may be experiencing their own struggles, such as illness.

Body reeking with pain
They may be in significant physical discomfort.

But thank you Lord
Despite this, I still believe in expressing gratitude and appreciation to God.

The bills are due
Others may be facing financial hardship.

Don't know where
They may not know how to overcome their financial struggles

The money coming from
Or where they will find the resources they need.

I want
It is my desire

I want to thank God
To show appreciation and thanks to God

The divine being I believe in and show gratitude towards.

Has been so good to me
