Josh Rosenblatt (drums, percussion)

Revent assembled in Los Angeles, with members hailing from Mercer Island, Washington and San Antonio, Texas. The band evolved from Seattle-based project, Red, which featured both Madden and Rosenblatt. Following the overwhelming response to their early home recordings and several line-up changes, Revent emerged in 2006 as the current line-up.

@Valentino Miller I think, a true fan of Bjork, (not just someone who has listened to her “greatest hits”) understands that whenever you listen to bjork, you must always shed your many preconceptions, of everything, to enjoy her music. It’s a signature unique and immortalizing to bjork in that, honestly no matter how much her music “evolves”, that fanatic feature stands to continue her relevance, thus increasing relativity to ones own (personal) life. Such a unique sound does not come about very often, and even scarcely so, such a signature.

With the worlds current state, there has been so many times where I became pessimistic that this sorrow and hardship would never end. I remember hearing this live in july last summer in Rättvik, Dalhalla. I really liked utopia. Many people hate on it. And I think it might be because it’s too experimental. Even though most of her work is. Also, many people have a negative bias towards artists’ newer work in general. But I think Björk is quite the opposite. And has developed as a singer.
