I am a former member of the Thompson singers during the hit years. Late 1980's through the early 90's. Had the chance to travel the country with the Late Rev. Milton Brunson. What a wonderful man he was and had a hugh heart for the youth. This early recording from the mid-70's, was just the start of us winning our one and only Grammy in 1994 for best traditional gospel choir. We still come together from time to time as the Reunion choir. I am actually the guy in the middle with curls.

I'll be 53 in November and I listen to this song at least 15 times a day. Precious memories! Our young adult choir sung this song at our choir anniversary when I was 19 yrs old. We rock the house. We had a time in that church at the ending of this song. 💃💃💃🏃🏃🏃 This is a very touching song. I was very young when we sung it and now I'm in my 50's lol. I can now say that I once was young but now I'm old lol. Still young though 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Precious memories but this is a true song.
