@Alex Mannyou haven’t read the books. All you’ve done is read reviews from other people with their own agendas you just happen to share.
You just don’t consider your shared agenda as being noteworthy; and that’s why people like yourself can’t be trusted at all because you operate in bad faith and from emotion rather than from humility and curiosity.
At the end of the day, the worst you could pin on Irving would be a thought crime, which if you had any respect for western liberal enlightenment values you would fight hard against no matter you specific disagreements.
But ironically, you like all of the folks Irving has had to defend himself against for almost his entire career including dodging assassination attempts (suddenly you’re not concerned about the victim anymore, curious); you would take the Nazi position of silencing your political opponents through fine and/or imprisonment.
So it’s funny to hear these complaints as though someone is threatening you with censure or worse, when nothing of the sort has ever happened to any of the folks who believe as you do not has it been desired or sought but your opponents.
But I supposed you don’t place any value in freedom from political tyranny so you wouldn’t care about that anyway.
And this is why so many today are considering the same kind of politically organized subversion campaigns in the other direction (which I disagree with); because they are that you folks are perfectly willing to place yourselves on a moral pedestal, leaving your opponents to either submit or be forced into submission - without any shame about it at all.

The irony is, Irving seems to have withdrawn from Holocaust denial, or is at least unable to show his face there again. Now that did surprise me. Wonders will never cease.

@Ying Yang he sort of did to an Austrian jury. Mind you, he was facing jail time under Austria’s anti-Holocaust denial laws. Now he seems to have fallen off the radar or something. Well, good riddance anyway.
