She feels slight guilt of it all, regardless of Chris beating her up. She feels slight guilt about how he’s getting all this hate, and feels guilty for starting the fight and how it escalated to him hitting her back. Obviously, she doesn’t feel guilt for him hitting her the way he did, but guilt and regret of hitting him in the first place, that caused this entire mess. She’s playing back the situation in her head, and knows that if she didn’t hit him, he wouldn’t have hit back, and she wouldn’t have to worry about what he’s going through mentally, and wouldn’t have to worry about ANYTHING, if she just didn’t snap on him. She doesn’t like that he’s getting all the outpouring hate, because she genuinely cares for his well being, mentally. Lol, some of you seriously act as if they were never in LOVE.. The only thing that she wished for, is for Chris to move forward with his life, and to not dwell on the situation between them. Whether it be personally apologizing, or publicly apologizing, due to whatever the circumstances are. It takes maturity to admit your faults, and there’s humility in that. Yeah but that is not true and dangerous to repeat. I was physically abused by 2 boyfriends and I never looked like this. Kicked, shoved, sprayed in the eyes with sanitizer spray, hair ripped out, punched in the stomach, buckets of water poured over my head, drinks dumped on me, food shoved in my face. And 7+ years of probation, got cancelled from every single radio, every single award show, lost all his sponsorships, lost half of his fan base, multiple years of community service, he took all the blame even though it was a mutual fight…I think he definitely got what he deserved. The situation still shouldn't have happened in any way but we can't put all blame on one person while praising the other either whether it's male or female, and there's still a difference than being an abuser and a monster than someone who did something stupid as fuck at 17-18. But even if it was long ago and he “regrets it” he has a history of violent tendencies even after this incident. The last recorded case (that I could find on the internet) of this happening was in 2017 with his ex gf who ended up filing a restraining order against him. Not even gonna mention the multiple nameless people who have accused him of physical assault (men AND women but mostly women)
Also he got kicked out of rehab for violent behavior. He reportedly jumped Frank Ocean and had a physical altercation with Drake as well.

It started as a verbal argument because Chris Brown had been unfaithful and Rihanna saw a message from his previous sexual partner on his phone. Then he tried to kick her out of the car and she refused and he couldn’t get her out cus her seatbelt was still on. When that failed he drove down the street and smashed her face against the window, then started punching her repeatedly on the face to the point she was bleeding.

I'm very much disappointed with the replies saying vice versa. Here I'm not disagreeing that abuse doesn't happen to men but the fact is instead of understanding and showing some humanity to what the person has gone through, you guys should be ashamed for saying vice versa , she's literally beaten to death . People seem to think very selfishly and only care about Rihanna in this situation, which you have every right to be upset about what happened, but think about what Chris had to go through, mentally, all these years. She wanted him to move forward and continue to prosper in life. She knew that his mistake was wrong, but also knew herself that she initiated the fight between them. She feels slight guilt of it all, regardless of Chris beating her up. She feels slight guilt about how he’s getting all this hate, and feels guilty for starting the fight and how it escalated to him hitting her back. Obviously, she doesn’t feel guilt for him hitting her the way he did, but guilt and regret of hitting him in the first place, that caused this entire mess. She’s playing back the situation in her head, and knows that if she didn’t hit him, he wouldn’t have hit back, and she wouldn’t have to worry about what he’s going through mentally, and wouldn’t have to worry about ANYTHING, if she just didn’t snap on him. She doesn’t like that he’s getting all the outpouring hate, because she genuinely cares for his well being, mentally. Lol, some of you seriously act as if they were never in LOVE.. The only thing that she wished for, is for Chris to move forward with his life, and to not dwell on the situation between them. She’s stated that she’s just trying to move forward with her life, and that he should do the same. And, honestly, you people should be doing the same and respecting that answer.
