Her musical career started in her family's band the Sally Mountain Show when she was barely five years old. She started learning mandolin at age eight, which was also when she released her first single. She achieved success in the bluegrass genre in the 1970's and 80's, earning the respect of her mostly male peers for her mastery of the progressive chord structures and multi-range, fast paced vocals intrinsic to bluegrass music.
In the 1990's she branched out into mainstream country music but did not enjoy the success anticipated there. With the release of her album "Back Home Again" in 2000, she returned to bluegrass with the goal of expanding both the musical reach and the accessibility of the genre. Since then she has seen her popularity and acceptance rise and has received acclaim from several music-industry groups. The International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) accorded her its Female Vocalist of the Year award for the years 2000 - 2005, plus IBMA Entertainer of the Year in 2001. And the Society for Preservation of Bluegrass Music in America (SPBGMA) designated her its Entertainer of the Year for 2002 - 2005 inclusive.
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!
Rhonda Vincent Lyrics

But the fire is so delightful
And since we've no place to go
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
It doesn't show signs of stopping
And I've brought some corn for popping
The lights are turned way down low
When we finally kiss goodnight
How I hate going out in the storm
But if you really hold me tight
All the way home I'll be warm
The fire is slowly dying
And my dear we're still goodbye-ing
As long as you love me so
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
Oh, it doesn't show signs of stopping
And I've brought some corn for popping
and the lights are turned way down low
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
OH... let it snow
All the way home I'll be warm
All the way home I'll be warm
The fire is slowly dying
And my dear I'm still goodbye-ing
As long you love me so
Let it snow, Let it Snow, Let it snow
Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow
Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow
The song "Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!" by Rhonda Vincent is a classic holiday tune that portrays the anticipation and excitement for a snow-filled evening. The song talks about the snowstorm outside, but the fire inside is so delightful that the singer asks to let it snow. It's a perfect romantic song that describes the simple pleasure of being inside with the person you love while the snow falls outside. The lyrics also suggest that the singer has no need to go out but chooses to stay inside and enjoy the company of their loved one.
The singer shares their plans to pop some corn and turn down the lights, creating a cozy atmosphere. They don't seem to mind the length of the storm as long as they have each other. The lyrics depict a couple sharing a kiss goodnight, and they head outside with the hope of being warm and safe. The song ends with the fire slowly dying, and the couple saying goodbye while still in love.
The song captures the romantic essence of the winter holidays, and its slow tempo adds to its charm. It is no wonder that it is one of the most popular winter songs to be played during the holiday season.
