Sanctificetur nomen tuum.
Adveniat regnum tuum
Fiat voluntas tua,
Sicut in caelo
et in terra
"Filia mea dulcis michi
filia delectum meum, ama me:
quia tu es meultum amata a me, mumtum plus quam tu ames me.
Et postquam ego colcavi me in te
modo colca te tu in me
Ista est mea creatura."
Pater Noster, quie es in caelis
Sanctificetur nomen tuum.
Adveniat regnum tuum
Fiat voluntas tua,
Sicut in caelo
et in terra
et sentiebam dulcedinem divinam ineffabilem
"Et postquam ego colcavi me in te, modo colca te tu in me
Ista est mea creatura"
"Filia mea dulcis michi
filia mea, delectum meum, templum meum
filia delectum meum, ama me:
quia tu es meultum amata a me, mumtum plus quam tu ames me.
Et postquam ego colcavi me in te
modo colca te tu in me
Ista est mea creatura."
The lyrics to Richard Einhorn's song, "Pater Noster," are spoken in Latin and English and alternate. The Latin lyrics are a recitation of the Lord's Prayer while the English portion is a love poem between a father and daughter. The father addresses his daughter, calling her his sweet daughter, temple, and his beloved. He tells her to love him because she is more loved by him than she can ever love him. He says that after he inhabited her, she should now inhabit him, and he calls her his creation.
The song is a blend of the sacred and the secular, with the solemn tones of the Lord's Prayer intermingled with the sensual words spoken by a father to his daughter, creating a sense of unease or confusion for the listener. One interpretation of the song is that it is a commentary on the blurred lines between the holy and the profane.
Overall, the lyrics are open to individual interpretation, with the listener left to decide what the meaning of the song is. The unusual blend of elements creates a unique and thought-provoking piece of music.

I heard part of this music during a pivotal scene in episode 10 of AHS: Aslyum, and it was so achingly beautiful and meshed perfectly. I am so happy to find this!

@@quanau1778 AHS: Asylum is damn great wdym
@quanau1778
Then good news is there are more movies and series that are better than the one you mentioned. They are good enough to make you feel disgusting when realize the true face of it. I won't spend time to argue with you. Try to search list of good film of history and watch them, read many good books, make friend with great persons until you find out a good philosophy about film. The more you understand your interests, the more you know their true values.

@@quanau1778 Is it really that deep tho? A whole paragraph over an opinion about a series that's objectively good? Chill out and let people enjoy whatever they want.
