when i was young, my grandfather, who was a composer, took me in his lap and told me: when the world around you collapses, or something changes in such a way that you need support, then you come back to this composition and remember that god gave us music to support our souls. And he was right.

I'm having this played at my funeral service. There's a few other things I'd like to happen during the service, but political correctness decrees otherwise. So, everything else will have to wait until the wake. This man's music touched my soul, and it has inspired and sustained me all my life. He truly was a genius.
