Faith
Richie McDonald Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴

Life can take you down a dead end road
In a blink of an eye it can spin out of control
When you feel like your forsaken and feel like given up
When there's nothin' to believe in and no one cares enough

Faith gives you hope, hope gives you strength
Strength gives you courage to go on each day
When you're praying for answer to things you can't change
When it's out of your hands you hold on to faith

It's the reason that a broken heart can mend
Why you can pick up all the pieces and learn to live again
You can't see it with your eyes or touch it with your hand
But it moves through the soul of a woman and a man

Faith gives you hope, hope gives you strength
Strength gives you courage to stand up each day
When you're praying for answer to things you can't change
When it's out of your hands just hold on to faith

'Cause eyes have been opened and crutches thrown away
Lives have changed forever with just an ounce

Sure wish the printed lyrics were available for us hearing impaired folks. Can't make out all the words of the verses. Love the idea at least what I can get. Sad. Why is it being skipped.... copywright problems???
