I'm selling dope, straight off the iPhone

He bought four, I front him five more
Nine piece, straight eight balls
MJG bitch I got eight balls
Nine piece, straight eight balls
Suave house, still independent
Distribution Mexican, he still sending
No contract, take my word
Send a hundred packs bitch them my birds
Shoe box, no shoes in 'em
In the two seater, me and two women
No Def Jam, went solo
Took your custy's prices so low
I'm smoking dope, I'm on my cell phone
I'm selling dope, straight off the iPhone
He wanna quote, he talking nine zones
He bought four, I front him five more
Nine piece, straight eight balls
MJG bitch I got eight balls

It's Lil' Tunechi, what up though?
I'm talking white girl, Marilyn Monroe
And I can get 'em for the sweet 16
Hard dope, call it HD Flat screen
Fuck outta here, your shit water whipped
You got that tan dope, look like a Florida bitch
Automatic leave 'em dead in the living room
Get it? Leave 'em dead in the living room
Fuck all these niggas and them bitches to kiss my ass
I put that pistol to his head and tell the nigga to have a blast
Fuck you mean? I'm talking keys like Ray Charles
Rack 'em up, pool table full of 8 balls
I'm smoking dope, I'm on my cell phone
I'm selling dope, straight off the iPhone
He wanna quote, he talking nine zones
He bought four, I front him five more
Nine piece, straight eight balls
MJG bitch I got eight balls
Nine piece, straight eight balls
MJG bitch I got eight balls
Soft white, I got that G-mix
I'm going Gold, crumbs to the bricks
I'm on the road, lets buy some new whips
Trick a hundred hoes
Spend a few chips (Rozay)
Nine piece, straight eight balls
Bitch I'm blowin' up like napalm
Got your bottom bitch going AWOL
Nigga's looking at ya like you fell off
No sir, not me
I'm double platinum just like my Ferrari
Bullet proof, nigga teflon

Nine piece, straight eight balls
MJG bitch I got eight balls
The lyrics of "9 Piece" by Rick Ross featuring T.I. and Lil Wayne are centered around the drug trade and the life that comes with it. The song talks about the different aspects of the drug trade and highlights the experiences of the artists.
The first verse describes Rick Ross smoking weed while conducting business on his cell phone. He also talks about selling drugs straight off his iPhone, which shows the advancement of technology in the drug trade. Rick Ross mentions how someone wants to make a large purchase of nine zones (of drugs). Instead of denying him, Rick Ross agrees to the deal and even gives him five more zones on credit. The chorus repeats itself, emphasizing the amount of drugs Rick Ross has with him (nine pieces of eight balls) and his confidence (MJG bitch, I got eight balls).
The second verse talks about the distribution channels for drugs. Rick Ross mentions his affiliation with Suave House, being independent, and still having ties to Mexican distributors. He asserts that he doesn't need a contract because his word is bond. Rick Ross even suggests that he has control over the drug market because he has "birds" (drugs) that he can easily send to anyone who needs it. The verse ends with Rick Ross driving with two women in a two-seater car.
The final verse is Lil Wayne's feature. He starts by comparing the quality of his drugs to a Hollywood icon (Marilyn Monroe) and brags about the price he can get for it (sweet 16). Lil Wayne takes shots at other dealers who can't compare to him, saying that their product is "water whipped" or not pure. He also boasts about his ability to kill someone and leave them in their own living room. The verse ends with another reference to his drug trade, comparing a pool table full of 8 balls to the amount of keys (kilos of drugs) he has.
