There are times, for me,
Occasionally, I find myself in situations when I am unable to meet my parents' expectations.

When I can't always be
I am unable to consistently act or behave in the way my parents would like me to.

All my Mom and Dad
My parents have certain expectations for my behavior and attitude.

Want me to be;
My parents have a desire for me to act or behave in certain ways.

Though I want to turn away,
Even though it may seem difficult or uncomfortable, I feel like distancing myself from my family.

Jesus says to stay,
Jesus encourages me to stay and work on my relationship with my family.

And to hug the ones
Jesus suggests I embrace and show love to the people in my family.

Who really love me!
I am to give love back to the people who also love me.

Hand and hand, and heart to heart,
We are joined together, hand in hand, with our hearts connected.

Together in the Lord,
We come together with the common purpose of serving the Lord.

We will serve each other,
We pledge to serve each other in love and unity.

All in one accord
We will work together in harmony toward our common goal.

Father, Mother, Sister, Brother,
We commit to serving each other regardless of the specific familial relationship.

We have been restored,
Through Christ, we have been made whole and are restored as a family.

United, as a family,
We are committed to being united and working together as a family.

We will serve the Lord.
Our ultimate goal is to serve the Lord and do His will as a family.

But, Jesus showed us how to live,

He taught us to forgive
One of the valuable lessons Jesus has taught us is the importance of forgiveness.

Forgiveness is essential for maintaining the strength and unity of our family.

Growing stronger
Through forgiveness and renewed commitment, our family grows even stronger.

So, let's forget about our pride
We should put aside our egos and focus on serving God.

And put our differences aside,
We need to put aside any differences or conflicts we may have and work together in unity.

And be God's family
Our ultimate goal is to be a family united in our service to God.
