On August 6, 2002, the band released their first full-length album entitled Hurry Up and Wait. The first single "I Feel Fine" became a quick success and was also featured in the 2002 movie Orange County. Additionally, the song "Pick Up the Pieces" was featured on the soundtrack for the video game ATV Offroad Fury 2, and in the movie Extreme Ops.
After touring heavily for two years, the band released their second album Stop the World on October 22, 2004. Unfortunately, this would mark the decline of the band. After touring for five years to support their two albums the band began to feel quite "burned out."
In August 2005, the band agreed to break up. Due to the quiet and sudden breakup of the band, most fans were unaware of the split. However the breakup was confirmed both on their official website and MySpace.
Following the break-up, Johnson formed the rock band New Disaster with Keel on drums. New Disaster released their first album mixed by Andy Johns and entitled Last Night Rites in February 2008 and then quickly released their follow up album Automanic in late 2009. Baker is currently working on a project entitled "Vegas Bomb", previously named "Twenty Questions" previously named "Clint's Junior Orchestra". Stroud formed Say Hello to the Angels, and is in the process of recording their debut album.
Baker also had a cameo appearance in the FOX hit TV show House. In addition, Paul Ebersold, the producer for two of the Riddlin' Kids' albums, helped to record the demos tracks for Baker's new project. Some of these songs may be part of the soundtrack for the new movie Weekend Junkies.
Here We Go Again

Another day of feeling green.
Never known a person who can spend so much time being mad at me.
And I didn't mean to get here late,
But my car ran out of gas
And then an airplane crashed into the road
And I had to save the people.
But here we go, here we go again.
Reach cramps and you make a frown,
Then you make a whiney sound,
Then it won't be long till we both reach ground zero,
So here we go again.
And I know you didn't get your way,
Now I guess you want to fight all day.
Better watch out what I say,
Don't look now, 'cause here we go again.
I'm glad that you calmed down,
Never thought I'd ever see you smile
After your head spun 'round
And you spit all that green stuff out on me.
We can't go to the mall,
That really sucks,
You know how much I love the way
You change again and again and again and again and again.
Didn't mean to let you down
But here we go, here we go again
Reach cramps and you make a frown,
Then you make a whiney sound,
Then it won't be long till we both reach ground zero,
So here we go again.
And I know you didn't get your way,
Now I guess you want to fight all day.
Better watch out what I say,
Don't look now, 'cause here we go again.
I'm really sorry that
I made you mad again.
(That doesn't really mean I'm sorry.)
It's really not my fault
That you over reacted.
Here we go
Here we go
Reach cramps and you make a frown,
Then you make a whiney sound,
Then it won't be long till we both reach ground zero,
So here we go again.
And I know you didn't get your way,
Now I guess you want to fight all day.
Better watch out what I say,
Don't look now, 'cause here we go again.
Reach cramps and you make a frown,
Then you make a whiney sound,
Then it won't be long till we both reach ground zero,
So here we go again.
And I know you didn't get your way,
Now I guess you want to fight all day.
Better watch out what I say,
Don't look now, 'cause here we go again.
Don't look now 'cause here we go again
Don't look now 'cause here we go again
Don't look now 'cause here we go again
The lyrics to Riddlin' Kids's song "Here We Go Again" depict a rocky relationship between two people, with one person continually getting mad about small things and picking fights while the other tries to navigate the situation. The first stanza sets up the theme of the song, with the singer feeling like they can never please the other person and always ending up in arguments. They explain that they were late to a meeting because their car ran out of gas and then an airplane crashed, but the other person still gets mad. This shows how unreasonable and quick to anger the other person can be.
In the second and third stanzas, the singer describes various instances of their partner getting mad and how quickly they escalate into fights. They calmly try to diffuse the situation, but it always seems to end the same way. However, there is a moment of relief in the bridge when the partner finally calms down and smiles, only for it to be short-lived.
Overall, the lyrics seem to be a commentary on toxic relationships, particularly those where one person is quick to anger and the other is constantly walking on eggshells. Despite the difficulties, the chorus seems to imply that the singer is resigned to the situation and knows that arguments are just a part of their relationship.
