On August 6, 2002, the band released their first full-length album entitled Hurry Up and Wait. The first single "I Feel Fine" became a quick success and was also featured in the 2002 movie Orange County. Additionally, the song "Pick Up the Pieces" was featured on the soundtrack for the video game ATV Offroad Fury 2, and in the movie Extreme Ops.
After touring heavily for two years, the band released their second album Stop the World on October 22, 2004. Unfortunately, this would mark the decline of the band. After touring for five years to support their two albums the band began to feel quite "burned out."
In August 2005, the band agreed to break up. Due to the quiet and sudden breakup of the band, most fans were unaware of the split. However the breakup was confirmed both on their official website and MySpace.
Following the break-up, Johnson formed the rock band New Disaster with Keel on drums. New Disaster released their first album mixed by Andy Johns and entitled Last Night Rites in February 2008 and then quickly released their follow up album Automanic in late 2009. Baker is currently working on a project entitled "Vegas Bomb", previously named "Twenty Questions" previously named "Clint's Junior Orchestra". Stroud formed Say Hello to the Angels, and is in the process of recording their debut album.
Baker also had a cameo appearance in the FOX hit TV show House. In addition, Paul Ebersold, the producer for two of the Riddlin' Kids' albums, helped to record the demos tracks for Baker's new project. Some of these songs may be part of the soundtrack for the new movie Weekend Junkies.
See The Light
Riddlin' Kids Lyrics

And now I don't know what to do.
Never thought I'd face the truth, it's hard not to repeat it.
I"ll never fall in love again.
Then she came to me and I got to see the light, and
I'm wondering what she's doing here.
Is it only sympathy, or is it all just in my mind.
Everyday seems like a weight's been lifted off my shoulders.
There's only one thing left to do.
Well, I can't play this game no more cause I'm just getting older.
And now I think the jokes on you.
Then she came to me and I got to see the light, and
I'm wondering what she's doing here.
Is it only sympathy, or is it all just in my mind.
Yeah I'm wondering what she's doing here in my room tonight.
You're always telling me, always telling me, always telling me that you want to be free.
You will never see the light. See the light.
Then she came to me and I got to see the light, and
I'm wondering what she's doing here.
Is it only sympathy, or is it all just in my mind.
Yeah I'm wondering what she's doing here.
The lyrics of Riddlin' Kids's song "See The Light" explore the themes of love, uncertainty, and self-discovery. The singer of the song opens with expressing disbelief in facing an inevitable change - falling in love again. The tone is melancholic, and there is a sense of resignation and fear of vulnerability that comes with opening up to someone new. However, just as he believes himself to be lost, a woman comes along and shows him the light. The singer wonders if her appearance in his life is out of convenience or if there is something more significant to it. He expresses skepticism and fear that it could all be in his mind.
As the song continues, the singer admits that a weight has been lifted off his shoulders daily. A game that he once played, which was causing him stress, is no longer an option. He is getting older and wiser, and he realizes the joke is on the other person. However, the presence of the woman in his life remains an enigma, and he is unsure if it's just sympathy or something more genuine. Lastly, the singer speaks to someone who constantly talks about wanting freedom but never seeking it, suggesting that they will never see the light.
