I remembered very well when I was in my teens. There were constant arguments of who was better: Rihanna or Gaga. As an adult I feel Rihanna is the better singer but Gaga has her beat in style and flare.

But mostly they just feel very different. Gaga feels focused and professional. She thought this out, perfected and knows how to do it perfectly. Rihanna feels far more like she sings her heart out and enjoys it so much. Gaga also feels like she makes use of every single resource she has at her disposal while Rihanna just goes with what she feels she needs.
I'm not saying one is better than the other. If anything it's really nice that the top 2 pop stars were so polar opposite of each other.

I agree on old songs being better than today's music, but the message was also positive. Now a days, male artist sing about drugs, hoes etc. and female artists sing about being hoes, or shaking their ass. Not all music but the mainstream music, like cardi b, nicki, iggy, Lil pump, Kodak black, etc. not too much positive going. Joyner locus is spreading positive message but not a lot of that going on from other artists.
