Suteki Da Ne
Rikki Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of "Suteki da ne" by Rikki describe a moment of pure wonder and beauty shared between two people. The words evoke the power of nature to inspire and move us, with images of the wind and clouds carrying words and tomorrow, and the moon and stars reflected in trembling hearts and tears. The singer expresses a deep desire to be with the person she loves, walking hand in hand through their city, their home, and their dreams. The song is a celebration of the joy and magic of being in love, and of the ways in which the world around us can reflect and amplify those feelings.

The lyrics of "Suteki da ne" are matched by a hauntingly beautiful melody, composed by Nobuo Uematsu for the video game Final Fantasy X. The game's story centers around the journey of the young summoner Yuna and her companions to defeat a great evil, and the song plays a pivotal role in the story. It is first heard during a scene in which Yuna performs a sacred ritual designed to send the spirits of the dead to the afterlife. The performance is accompanied by a stunning visual sequence featuring the characters in full costume against a vivid sunset. The song's lyrics and melody capture the sense of wonder and awe that the characters and players alike are meant to feel in that moment, and it has become one of the game's most iconic and beloved pieces.

This is my favourite of all FFX, along with the Tidus laugh and the infamous Wakka's hate about the Al Bhed.

That violin solo makes cry everytime, it carries such beauty and sadness that went beyond any words

@dallontongariro7622

I think it's actually a mandolin.

Ironic that a song called Setuki da Ne (Isn't it Beautiful) would be such a beautiful song, yeah?

Easily Final Fantasy's most beautiful thus far.

Tidak terasa 14 tahun berlalu, saya mendengarkan lagu ini lagi di tahun 2023.
Lagu ini saya dengarkan pertama kali, dengan sahabat saya yang sangat penggila anime. Kangen masa-masa itu.

I love this song.. Ahh Yuna & Tidus, what an engrossing romance to experience in a videogame. A Romeo and Juliet of modern art.

@juanmanuelavalosreyes4959

nickpower03 i dont think so because tidus was just a fanthom who fall in love that its amaizing , romeo was a teen ager who just" die for love"

@Asellus

Kou Yang I have to disagree with that. Even though I've played both of them and never finished it the story is still amazing. I first played X-2 and never knew it was the continuation of X because I've never heard of it when I was a kid.

----SPOILERS----

When playing it being blinded of X, I enjoyed Yuna side of the story and wanting to find Tidus. After being on the adventure with YRP I found X and got a chance to play it. I have to say in my opinion even though I did spoil a little bit thanks to X-2 I've felt more close to the characters and when piecing both stories together, it honestly is a good story. I respect Yuna even more for changing and trying to find Tidus compared on how fragile and strong she was. Im happy how Yuna changed, Lulu and Wakka, Khimari and even Rikku ( personally I like how Rikku is in X-2 than in X). Everyone changes and glad they added that feature in the series. Also please don't spoil the ending! Let me beat the final boss since he is a dick xD I need to witness the ending with my own eyes ;~;

@@juanmanuelavalosreyes4959 Tidus was real and existed there in Spira until Sin (Jecht) was killed. Then Tidus simply didn't exist seeing as his father would never exist.
Though it is discovered at the end of 10-2 that Jecht used the last of power as Sin to ensure Tidus existed, Yuna needed only find him.
