Hold On

Sitting on the floor as the walls closed in
Running out of breath, suffocating
Get me out, get me out
Oh, giving up was making a mess of me
It took me falling down to get on my feet
Running out of hope, You made me believe
I found my faith dancing through the fire
By the grace of God, I′m a survivor
The voices telling me quit, they're only liars
Only liars
Hold on
When the rope you′ve been holding is down to a thread
Hold on
To the air in your lungs when you've got nothing left
And when your legs start to stumble
Run to the light in the tunnel
The victory's worth all the struggle so
Hold on!
Hold, on, hold on
Hold, on, hold on
Hold, on, hold on
Hold, on, hold on
Never thought I′d get to a silver lining
Now I′m waking up to a sun that's shining
We all got something inside that′s worth fighting for
Fighting for
I found my faith dancing through the fire
By the grace of God, I'm a survivor
The voices telling me quit, they′re only liars
Only liars
Hold on
When the rope you've been holding is down to a thread
Hold on
To the air in your lungs when you′ve got nothing left
And when your legs start to stumble
Run to the light in the tunnel
The victory's worth all the struggle so
Hold on!
Hold, on, hold on
Hold, on, hold on
Hold, on, hold on
Hold, on, hold on
I found my faith dancing through the fire
By the grace of God, I'm a survivor
The voices telling me quit, they′re only liars
Only liars!
Hold on
When the rope you′ve been holding is down to a thread
Hold on
To the air in your lungs when you've got nothing left
And when your legs start to stumble
Run to the light in the tunnel
The victory′s worth all the struggle so
Hold on!
Hold, on, hold on
Hold, on, hold on
Hold, on, hold on
Hold, on, hold on
Hold on, hold on
Hold on
Hold on, hold on, Yeah!
Riley Clemmons's song Hold On is a motivational and uplifting song that inspires people to not give up when they are in a tough situation. In the first verse, the singer talks about a time when she was suffocating and feeling trapped. However, she didn't give up, and instead, she found the strength to believe in herself, and she rebuilt her faith. The chorus has a simple yet powerful message that tells people to hang on to their rope when it is down to a thread and to hold on to the air in their lungs when they have nothing left. The lyric "run to the light in the tunnel" suggests that people should look for the good in their situation and keep moving towards a brighter future. The singer's personal experience of finding faith in the face of hardship gives the song a relatable and inspiring message.
In the second verse, the singer talks about how she never thought she would find a silver lining, but she did. She suggests that everyone has something inside that is worth fighting for, and they need to believe in themselves to find it. The chorus repeats the comforting message that people should hold on, even when the struggle feels overwhelming. The bridge reinforces the theme of the song, with the singer reaffirming her faith and stating that the voices that tell her to quit are only liars.

😍😍😍 I LOVE THIS SONG!!!!
Who else loves being a Christian???
Edit: Thank you for all the replies\likes! I agree with all of you, nothing can compare to the wonderful sacrifice Christ Jesus made on Calvary's tree! Suffering the wrath of God for us so we didn't have to! I praise God for the fact that we can know Him personally and that we are free from death's sting!

My favorite line is "by the grace of God I'm a survivor," I'm always shocked at how far God has taken me and how much he's changed my life around in only a year.
