I'm Leaning On You
Riley Clemmons Lyrics
Jesus, take the beauty from the pain
Jesus, lift these weary hands again
Turn the silence into songs of praise
Jesus, I am leaning on Your name
I'm leaning on You
I'm leaning on You
I'm leaning on You
I'm leaning on You
When no one else can help me, Jesus can
Every other name is sinking sand
And even when my heart don't understand
Jesus, I will trust You even then, oh
I'm leaning on You
I'm leaning on You
I'm leaning on You
I'm leaning on You
And I'm convinced that nothing can ever
Separate us from God's love
Neither death, nor life, no power on earth
Can separate us
Oh I'm confident that nothing can ever
Separate us from God's great love
Neither death, nor life, no power on earth
You promised us
I'm leaning on You
I'm leaning on You
I'm leaning on You
I'm leaning on You
I'm leaning on YouI'm leaning on You
Leaning on, leaning on
Leaning on, leaning on
Leaning
Jesus, lift these weary hands again
Turn the silence into songs of praise
Jesus, I am leaning on Your name
I'm leaning on You
I'm leaning on You
I'm leaning on You
I'm leaning on You
When no one else can help me, Jesus can
Every other name is sinking sand
And even when my heart don't understand
Jesus, I will trust You even then, oh
I'm leaning on You
I'm leaning on You
I'm leaning on You
I'm leaning on You
And I'm convinced that nothing can ever
Separate us from God's love
Neither death, nor life, no power on earth
Can separate us
Oh I'm confident that nothing can ever
Separate us from God's great love
Neither death, nor life, no power on earth
You promised us
I'm leaning on You
I'm leaning on You
I'm leaning on You
I'm leaning on You
I'm leaning on YouI'm leaning on You
Leaning on, leaning on
Leaning on, leaning on
Leaning

In times like this, itβs important to know who we can lean on. I've seen enough to know that God has been faithful. We need to remind ourselves of the victories that weβve seen and been through. That's what and who we need to lean on.

Jesus is the air in my chest! Without him I would be dead! I wouldn't be able to breathe.

My friends 25 year old son died in his sleep Saturday, there is no cause. He died in his sleep. She weeped over his casket and collapsed at grave site, was the most devastating thing ive seen. This song is perfect. I cant imagine her pain as a mother, my kids are the same age. I stood and weeped and went and held her as she sobbed. Only Jesus can heal her and hold this family up. But, we can all pray for them. RIPππΌπ’β€οΈπ

May He give her blessings in her sorrow. Mu heart breaks for her but He will never give you more than you can deal with. I lost my wife and 3 year old son in 1999. He saved me from following them into death.β€
