At 16, Riley was signed to Capitol CMG and sky-rocketed onto the scene with her 2017 debut hit single “Broken Prayers”, which has amassed over 30M global streams since its release. Riley followed up the song with her self-titled debut album in August 2018, which debuted at No. 13 on the US Heatseekers Albums chart. In June 2019, she released her single “Fighting For Me”, which was one of only two female songs to reach Top 5 on the National Christian Audience radio chart in 2019, establishing Riley as a radio mainstay. Riley was then nominated for “New Artist of the Year” at the 2019 Dove Awards and named a feature performer. She also hosted the award shows’ official pre-telecast.
An accomplished composer, performer, and recording artist, Riley is inspired by numerous genres, from classic artists such as Fleetwood Mac and Barbara Streisand to 2000s female pop vocalists Ariana Grande and Katy Perry.
I'm Not Alone
Riley Clemmons Lyrics

Anyone could ever love me just the way I am, the way I am
Turned away, so afraid
Shame will come and tell me I′m rejected once again, oh
I thought my worth was lost
But it wasn't lost on You
Help me believe what is true
You are for me, not against me
I call on Your Name, You silence the shame
You hear me, You′re with me
I know I'm not alone
I'm not alone (Oh, yeah)
You bottle up all my tears
There′s not a one that′s wasted in Your hands, in Your hands
When I feel too weak to fight
Your arms will hold me up and give me strength to stand
I thought my worth was lost
But it wasn't lost on You
Help me believe what is true
You are for me, not against me
I call on Your Name, You silence the shame
You hear me, You′re with me
I know I'm not alone (oh-oh-oh)
When the walls are falling down
When I′m face-to-face with doubt
And the lies are getting loud
Help me stand my ground
You say You will never leave
When I'm surrounded by my enemies
You go behind me, before meDefend me, restore me, yeah
I am not alone, no, no (I know)
I am not alone (I am not alone)
I am not alone, no, no (I know)
I am not alone
You are for me, not against me
I call on Your Name, You silence the shame
You hear me, You′re with me
I know I'm not alone
I'm not alone
The lyrics to Riley Clemmons's song "I'm Not Alone" reveal a struggle with shame, insecurity, and fear of rejection. The singer feels unworthy of love from others and turns to God for reassurance. She finds solace in the knowledge that God loves and supports her, even in moments of doubt and weakness.
The chorus emphasizes the singer's belief that God is on her side - "You are for me, not against me" - and that He provides comfort and strength to overcome her struggles. The line "You silence the shame" suggests that God has the power to quiet the singer's inner critic and provide a sense of peace and acceptance.
The bridge addresses the singer's fears of being alone and overwhelmed, but asserts her faith in God's protection and guidance. She trusts that God will be with her through difficult times, and will defend and restore her when needed.
Overall, the song offers a message of hope and comfort for those struggling with feelings of inadequacy or isolation. The singer's vulnerability and honesty make the lyrics relatable, and the upbeat melody adds an optimistic tone to the message.

@MandieZangora
I’m full on sobbing so hard I can’t even see the screen clearly. I’m chronically ill, single, and it feels like all my friends have either deserted me or don’t truly care about me. I’ve been so sick and depressed and feeling like I don’t have anybody who truly knows who I am and truly loves me and stands by me, not just tolerates me. I was just about to go to bed when I got the notification you posted this and the title pulled me closer and not 15 seconds in I just collapsed in tears. My service dog ran to me, laid in my lap and kissed my tears away and I realized that even when I have nobody else around, I always have my heaven sent angel on earth to be with me as a visual reminder that God is always with me. I always say that the only time I truly feel Gods presence is in music and that is why he led me to music city. Thank you for reminding me tonight Riley ♥️🥰♥️ Flynn and I love you and are praying for you!

i love the way she expresses her foundation in God, even if one isn't a Christian, the song would still preach to you
@David-et8vm
That's it, I am not a Christian and these songs talk to me in a way that no other songs ever have, as you can apply those messages to any aspect of life, and that's wonderful
