At 16, Riley was signed to Capitol CMG and sky-rocketed onto the scene with her 2017 debut hit single “Broken Prayers”, which has amassed over 30M global streams since its release. Riley followed up the song with her self-titled debut album in August 2018, which debuted at No. 13 on the US Heatseekers Albums chart. In June 2019, she released her single “Fighting For Me”, which was one of only two female songs to reach Top 5 on the National Christian Audience radio chart in 2019, establishing Riley as a radio mainstay. Riley was then nominated for “New Artist of the Year” at the 2019 Dove Awards and named a feature performer. She also hosted the award shows’ official pre-telecast.
An accomplished composer, performer, and recording artist, Riley is inspired by numerous genres, from classic artists such as Fleetwood Mac and Barbara Streisand to 2000s female pop vocalists Ariana Grande and Katy Perry.
Miracle

Hundreds of times
The light and the glory
The wonders and signs
I never imagined
Or dared to believe
That something so holy
Could happen for me
But standing here with you
No way I could deny
The God who walked on waves
Sent you to change my life
I used to think
Miracles had to be
Water turned to wine
Or the parting of the sea
But when I look in your eyes
I see Heaven break through
And it's making me believe
My miracle is you
My words can't explain it
But my heart knows it's real
'Cause my broken pieces
Have started to heal
Like truth for a doubter
Like sight for the blind
Your love shows me power
From something divine
Oh, I used to think
Miracles had to beWater turned to wine
Or the parting of the sea
But when I look in your eyes
I see Heaven break through
And it's making me believe
My miracle is you
Ooh, it's you
Ooh, ooh
Somehow you were the answer
To all the prayers I prayed
I guess that's what they meant by
Mysterious ways
I used to think
Miracles had to be
Water turned to wine
Or the parting of the sea
But when I look in your eyes
I see Heaven break through
And it's making me believe
My miracle is you
Yeah, it's easy to believe
My miracle is you
Ooh, it's you
In Riley Clemmons's song "Miracle," the opening lines delve into a theme of disbelief and wonder surrounding the concept of miracles. The singer reflects on having heard the stories of miraculous events countless times—stories filled with light, glory, and divine signs. These narratives, while impactful and often fantastical, didn’t seem tangible or achievable for the singer personally. The use of phrases like "I never imagined" and "dared to believe" highlights a sense of skepticism regarding the possibility of experiencing such holiness in their own life. Instead, they seemed to exist in stories told by others—grand events like the parting of seas or turning water into wine, suggesting that these were the only forms of miracles worthy of that title.
However, a significant shift occurs as the singer acknowledges the presence of a special person in their life, who serves as their miracle. The lines "standing here with you, no way I could deny" convey an overwhelming sense of realization and acknowledgment that miracles can be found in everyday life and relationships, rather than just extraordinary biblical events. This person embodies divine intervention or transformation, providing a contrast between the grandiose miracles of the past and the intimate, personal miracle of love and connection. By framing this individual as a force that has the ability to change their life, the song captures the profound impact that meaningful relationships can have, suggesting that love can be a transformative power, akin to the miracles depicted in the stories of faith.
As the song unfolds, the singer redefines what a miracle means to them, moving beyond traditional notions of miraculous events. They previously believed that miracles only manifest in grand displays of divine involvement, such as "water turned to wine" or "the parting of the sea." Yet, in looking into the eyes of their loved one, they perceive a sense of divine intervention that feels more personal and intimate. This shift in perspective is powerful; it reflects an understanding that miracles can manifest in emotional healing, connection, and love. The lines describing their "broken pieces" healing implies a journey from pain to wholeness, signifying that this relationship has the ability to mend past wounds and create a new, hopeful existence.
Toward the end of the song, the acknowledgment that this person is the answer to their prayers culminates in a realization of the divine nature of love. The mention of "mysterious ways" suggests that the singer has found solace in the idea that sometimes the most miraculous changes in one's life occur through unexpected means. This signifies a deeper understanding that faith and love often go hand in hand—the extraordinary is found in the ordinary moments. The repeated refrain, "my miracle is you," encapsulates this love as the ultimate confirmation of hope, healing, and belief, illustrating that miracles are not only extraordinary events that occur in a broader context but also the remarkable intimacy and life-altering connections we forge with others. This song serves as an affirmation of love's transformative power, allowing the singer—and thereby the listener—to find miracles in their daily life through the bonds they share with others.

Gave birth to a baby in 2021, normal birth, he pooped inside & ate his poop made him rely on life support for 1 week. One day of NICU MOM visits, he was stable.Everthing was alright till it's time for NICU MOMS to head back to their beds.I turned back saw all the NICU NURSES & a Doctor surrounding him, he couldn't breathe even on life support, he wanted to leave me that day.I stood there & prayed.Kneeling my knees & cried out loud,LORD SHOW YOUR MIRACLES FOR MY SON.Iam a first time Mom, crying for healing & i'll look after him well.He has long way to go Lord 😭😭.I cried cried so hard until the doctor said HIS PULSE IS BACK 😭😭😭😭 from that day we (parent's) decided to named him MIRACLE.Trust him & have faith in him ❣️
