During her years in junior high school, she was a singer of a band and the drummer was her cousin. She also participated in several singing contests but never really win the contest. However, in high school she had the chance to audition for indonesian idol. Through the constant struggle and support from her family and friends, she finally won as a winner of indonesian idol 2007. The youngest participant to ever win the indonesian Idol at that time. She was only 17 years old.
Through the success of being the winner of Indonesian Idol 2007, she released her first album "Aku Tetap Milikmu" in 2007 produced by Sony Music Indonesia. She has 2 singles from her first album, first single was "Aku Tetap Milikmu". It was her finale winner song in indonesian idol 2007. Second single was "Aku Bukan Boneka".
She also had a compilation album with the idols from season 4, titled "Masterpiece". She sang "Jera" by Agnes Monica and all the idols sang "Bendera" by coklat. After that she released a single titled "Over Protective" in 2009, she also released another single titled "Mimpi Besarku" in 2012. This song was the first song produced by Hits Records. the following year she had the chance to make her own song titled "Bebas". It was officially released in 2013. She has been through a lot in life but she believes that if there is a will, there is a way. Music is her life, singing is her passion. She never gives up to make her dreams come true. All of her work and creations are dedicated to her family, people that she love and of course to Rinnicious who always support her through thick and thin.
Through the support of her loved ones, she has many accomplishments. she became the artist of the month in MTV Indonesia and she also received a nominee for the best newcomer female singer in Anugerah Planet Muzik 2008 in Singapore. Not only in music, she also appeared in many commercials, such as Tje fuk (2007), Fren (2008), Honda Beat (2008), and richeese (2009).
In 2008, she got a chance to act in a movie titled "Setan Budeg". It was her debut in the movie industry. In 2010, she also participated in drama musical for Fanta. She toured in 5 major cities throughout Indonesia.
In 2011, she played for another drama musical titled "Anak Koruptor" directed by Sys NS.

Joeniar Arief - Rapuh ini lagu hitz banget di zamannya 2009. Ex personil nya Tofu bareng Uya Kuya, Fla dan Anton...di nyanyiin lagi sama Rini...ok lah versi cewenya. Gara2 nonton film Rentang Kisah (2020) jd inget lagi lagu ini.
