Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?
Rita Wilson Lyrics

You give you love so sweetly
Tonight the light of love is in your eyes
But will you love me tomorrow?
Is this a lasting treasure
Or just a moment's pleasure?
Can I believe the magic of your sighs?
Tonight with words unspoken
You say that I'm the only one
But will my heart be broken
When the night meets the morning sun?
I'd like to know that your love
Is love I can be sure of
So tell me now, and I won't ask again
Will you still love me tomorrow?
So tell me now, and I won't ask again
Will you still love me tomorrow?
Will you still love me tomorrow?
Will you still love me tomorrow?
Rita Wilson's "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?" is a song that captures the essence of a relationship that is still in its early stages but has the potential to blossom into something greater. The passage of time is a recurring theme, as the singer wonders if her lover's feelings for her will remain as deep and true as they are in the present moment.
The first verse sets the tone of the song, describing how the singer is completely enamored with her lover, who has eyes filled with the "light of love." She wonders, however, whether this love will remain forever or fade away. The second verse delves deeper into this uncertainty, with the singer questioning whether her lover's declarations of love are a "lasting treasure" or merely a "moment's pleasure."
The bridge of the song offers a moment of contemplation, with the singer wondering if the love she shares with her partner is real and whether her heart will be broken when the "night meets the morning sun." She seeks assurances that her lover's love for her is genuine and will stand the test of time. The chorus echoes this plea, with the singer seeking confirmation that her lover will "still love me tomorrow."
Overall, "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?" is a powerful song about the insecurities that can plague a new relationship. It captures the fear of not knowing whether the person you love will remain true and faithful in the months and years to come.
