Roadside Monument Lyrics

'it will not come back void'
every seed planted will grow
is my heart good soil?
His love is poured through me
His love is poured on me
use me, break me
an open wound, healed
The significance of the lyrics to Roadside Monument's song Seed lies in the message of faith and personal growth. The lyrics appear to express the idea of planting seeds in the soil of our hearts and waiting for them to grow. The line "every time I send the word 'it will not come back void'" might refer to an internal dialogue or prayer, where the singer is affirming their faith that their actions will have a positive impact on the world. This is further emphasized by the following line "every seed planted will grow," which suggests a belief in the power of positive action and the belief that even small things can lead to significant change.
The song also touches upon the theme of surrendering oneself to a higher power. The line "His love is poured through me" suggests that the singer feels like a vessel for a greater force, and that by staying open and receptive, they can allow that love to flow through them and into the world. At the same time, the line "use me, break me" suggests that the singer is willing to sacrifice themselves to serve a greater purpose, even if that means experiencing pain or discomfort. The final line "an open wound, healed" might refer to the idea that through surrendering oneself and allowing oneself to be broken and remade, one can experience transformative healing.
