(of Upstate Weight) plans to change that. He was born and raised in Upstate NY. and has made it his mission to make hip hop relevant in other areas of NY. He is off to a good start with his fan base increasing daily. I.E. is not your everyday rapper, his sound and unique personality, continues to raise the bar. His explosive, lively act keeps the crowds attention on and off stage.
I.E. has touched a variety of NY venues. He has worked with super-producer Harry Fraud on one of his latest releases which also featured national names Taylor Gang's Chevy Woods and Smoke DZA who all joined forces with Rob I.E. to create the single "Twisting Facts" which landed on itunes.
Currently working on new material which is planned to be released this Fall. Along with constantly working on his craft "I.E." is always reaching out to new fans. His mission starts in Upstate N.Y. and Rob I.E. wants everyone to join the movement.
The budding Emcee First started rhyming for fun back in the mid 90's to entertain his friends while they were out on their skateboards. It wasn't until after he left high school when he really started to focus on hip hop, he realized he had a passion. After his failed attempt at higher learning, he formed a group with his friend he met while at school, called "Upstate Weight" and released their first project in 2005 called the "drunken masters freestyle vol. 1" The Mixtape was passed around among peers and with in weeks U.P.S.W was being asked to perform. The group spit shortly after and Rob I.E. took a break from the music scene. Only to return with a bigger impact.
Playing various venues across N.Y., including, the headline act for his genre at the Utica Music Fest '09. and again in 2011. He was also the featured act at the Shrine in Harlem N.Y. and opened with acts such as Keith Murray in Manhattan. also received recognition from "Alwayz Therro" magazine who featured Rob I.E. in their "Rated Next" column. His first solo mixture "Weight Before the Harvest", which was hosted by its Bizkit, came out in July 2010. The entire tape was recorded on the spot without a single song being written down, and he managed to create and track each song in less than 9 hours. The mixtape consisted of 14 tracks.
Rob I.E. is a artist that strives to push himself. Believes strongly in making original, creative music and continues to do so. So always be on the lookout for something new from this artist and catch a live performance which words can't define.

left alone. ft leroy tetris
Rob (i.e.) Lyrics
Good feelings void
Seems like I got no one
I wanna be at peace
With memories I war
If you love me
Save me, help me
Purify my soul
Restore, help me
I need love
Unconditional
Pierce my heart
Unmissable
Da doo, doo, doo
Da doo, doo, doo
Da doo, doo, doo
Da doo, doo, doo
I don't wanna be alone
I don't wanna be alone
I don't wanna be alone
I don't wanna be alone
I'm blessed
I'm King
I'm worthy
I'm free
I'm loved
I'm healed
I matter, I breath
I'm human, just like you
Separate lives, different issues
But We all have the same fate
Yeah we all the same race
Seems like I got no one
I wanna be at peace
With memories I war
If you love me
Save me, help me
Purify my soul
Restore, help me
I need love
Unconditional
Unmissable
Da doo, doo, doo
Da doo, doo, doo
Da doo, doo, doo
Da doo, doo, doo
I don't wanna be alone
I don't wanna be alone
I don't wanna be alone
I don't wanna be alone
I'm blessed
I'm King
I'm worthy
I'm free
I'm loved
I'm healed
I matter, I breath
I'm human, just like you
Separate lives, different issues
But We all have the same fate
Yeah we all the same race

Must have been related to my art teacher who stuck paint in front of first graders and then put me in timeout for the rest of the period for dipping my brush in it before she told us not to. 😅
