Where the water's runnin' free
That tree signifies that there is a water source flowing freely which we can access and drink from.

And it's waitin' there for you and me?
The water source is patiently waiting for us to arrive and quench our thirst.

The shadows sway and seem to say
The shadows of the trees and plants seem to be reminding us of our dire need for water.

Tonight we pray for water
We are left with no other option other than to pray to find a water source.

And way up there he'll hear our prayer
We believe that our prayer will be heard by God or a higher power who will guide us towards water.

And show us where
God or a higher power will show us where to find the water source.

The higher power will lead us to the much-needed cool, clean and clear water source.

Water must be cool and clear for us to meet our physical needs and quench our thirst sufficiently.
