It's All Good
Robert Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

See oh no no you don't have to write it all out

no it's been understood

tomorrow I'll be leaving you

but it's all good
Ooh ooh ooh ooh

I'm sorry we're so far away

from where we started out

no I never meant to set that fire

but now it's all burned down

ooh ooh ooh ooh

So here's to finding new love again

here's to the first kiss and the last touch

here’s to the way things used to be

I hope you smile when you remember me

(repeat)

Oh no no you don't have to write it all out

no it's been understood

tomorrow I'll be leaving you

but it's all good

ooh ooh ooh ooh

(repeat)

Here's to new love, here's to new love.

Ain't right for me

See I've learned the most from what I've done wrong

forgive me for leaving you all on your own

my heart says keep moving I gotta keep moving on

one more time through the night

Just cause you ain't right for me don't mean there's anything wrong

I can't control my heart it does whatever it wants

Forget my intentions I know what I've done

tried to love you with a fire and keep my heart hidden

they're playing Elvis Costello on the elevator down

put all of my love in the cool wet ground

Just cause you ain't right for me don't mean there's anything wrong

I can't control my heart it does whatever it wants

Just cause you ain't right for me don't mean there's anything wrong

I can't control my heart it does whatever it wants

I could feel the cold night running through my body

and all I wanna know is that there's gonna be somebody

to keep alive the fire so I can find

my way back home

(repeat)

Just cause you ain't right for me don't mean there's anything wrong

I can't control my heart it does whatever it wants

Just cause you ain't right for me don't mean there's anything wrong

I can't control my heart it does whatever it wants

Whatever it wants, whatever it wants, whatever it wants.

Overall Meaning

The song "It's All Good" by Robert reflects on a bittersweet breakup. Robert tells his former lover that he understands there's nothing left to say, and though tomorrow he will be leaving, he hopes that their memories of each other will make them both smile. The chorus offers a glimpse of hope, encouraging the listener to find new love and to celebrate the joy of new beginnings. The lyrics tell a story of both regret and acceptance, as the singer acknowledges the past but looks forward to the future.

The second song "Ain't right for me" has similar themes. The lyrics suggest that the singer has learned from past mistakes, and though he is leaving his lover, he wishes her no harm. The chorus repeats the idea that just because someone may not be "right" for someone else, that doesn't mean either of them is necessarily "wrong." The song expresses a desire to move on and find love and happiness again, while also acknowledging the difficulty of letting go.

Overall, these two songs offer a complex mix of emotions, ranging from sadness and regret to hope and optimism. Through the lyrics, Robert explores the way that heartbreak can both hurt us and teach us valuable lessons, ultimately pointing us towards a brighter future.

This is the best interview on stock market ever. Worth watching again and again. Bob's knowledge, experience and expertise is highly commendable and I am extremely fortunate to see and hear this interview. Thanks host for bringing out such a valuable video.

Sorry followed Bob for over 15 years from 1995 and they got it spectacularly wrong. He simpley says in this interview what he was saying back in 1998 and 2006, no difference.

@Garry W
Hmmm. Considering what happened soon after ‘98 and ‘06 - meaning the markets blowing up then crashing.
Are you writing tongue in cheek?

Garry W

Did not happen sorry

I remember in 2011 and 12, he was absolutely sure the markets were going to crash big time. His Elliott wave analysis proved it!
Well, guess what really happened between 2011 and 2022?
He was catastrophically wrong, and disappeared..... until just now!

100%. I received quite the expensive education from his services. I'm still searching for my ass.

I don't think his prediction is wrong.
But his timing..... bro......... the man needs his watch fixed.

sauermaische yahoo

It has predictive power up to a point. What it is not good at predicting is turning points.
Because of the fractal nature of the waves, the big reversal one spots can turn out to be a minor reversal of a smaller wave. Damn! You've numbered the waves wrongly. Oh dear, how sad.
Moral of the story... Elliott Waves can only be one tool in a tool box containing all sorts of other measures for the markets. They can only give support to conclusions drawn from other parameters.

👍Thanks for a variety of guests.👍 It was refreshing to find that Eliot Wave Theory is featured this week. Although I align with the Comments & criticisms -- that EW only works post hoc and has no predictive power (plus a 'place the starting-point' problem) -- this interview is an interesting take.
