In 1984, Plant formed a short-lived all-star retro rock group with musicians Jimmy Page (also of Led Zeppelin), Jeff Beck, and Phil Collins called The Honeydrippers. The band had a Top Ten hit with their song "Sea of Love", a remake of the Phil Phillips' chestnut. Plant's also notably performed with Page in the outfit Page & Plant.
Plant's love of the music of Morocco led him to a new collaboration called Robert Plant and the Strange Sensation. The band's releases met with critical acclaim and numerous Grammy nominations. They completed a notable 2006 tour of Europe in September.
In 2007, Plant began recording and performing with American bluegrass star Alison Krauss. A duet album, Raising Sand, was released on 23 October 2007 on Rounder Records. The album, recorded in Nashville and Los Angeles and produced by T-Bone Burnett, met with enormous critical and commercial success. Tours have reached devoted audiences in multiple cities.
The year of 2010 proves to be yet another successful year for the lemon squeezer. During the summer, Plant will be reuniting with his old, Pre-Zep group, The Band Of Joy, for a tour of the southern and mid continental tour of the US.
In 2012 Robert Plant starts another band project going by the name Sensational Space Shifters releasing the live album Robert Plant Presents: Sensational Space Shifters. Along with Plant himself the band consists of Liam "Skin" Tyson, Justin Adams, Billy Fuller and John Baggot along with Dave Smith, Juldeh Camara and Patty Griffin.
Anniversary
Robert Plant Lyrics

Bitter silence all around
It's the anniversary
Feel the fear, and sad defeat
Keeps my fragile haunted peace
On the anniversary
Through these dark and lovely streets
Drag my ragged defeat
The anniversary
It's the anniversary
How far is hate,
away from this
Reluctant heated kiss
On the anniversary
The anniversary
The anniversary
Ooh
I don't want to feel your kiss no more
I don't want to feel your kiss no more
I don't want to feel your kiss no more
Oh oh oh oh
I don't want to feel your kiss no more
Oh oh oh!
In Robert Plant's song "Anniversary," the singer reflects on a somber anniversary, feeling the weight of sadness, fear, and defeat. The land he has found is filled with bitter silence, and he drags his ragged defeat through the dark streets. The lyrics suggest a feeling of regret or disappointment, perhaps due to the failure of a relationship or another significant event that has left the singer feeling haunted by memories. The reference to a "reluctant heated kiss" could indicate a sense of lingering attachment to someone who has caused pain or disappointment in the past.
The repetition of the phrase "It's the anniversary" throughout the song emphasizes the significance of this date to the singer, and the somber, introspective tone of the lyrics suggests that he is struggling to come to terms with his emotions. Despite the sadness and fear he feels, the singer is determined to move on and leave behind the painful memories associated with this date, as indicated by the repeated refrain, "I don't want to feel your kiss no more."
Overall, "Anniversary" is a poignant meditation on the power of memory and the struggle to let go of the past. The lyrics are open to interpretation, but the imagery of dark streets, haunted peace, and ragged defeat paint a vivid picture of a troubled soul grappling with difficult emotions.
