Sun Is Shining
Robin Schulz Lyrics
Sun is shining, the weather is sweet, yeah
Make you want to move your dancing feet, now
When the mornin' gather the rainbows, yeah
Want you to know I'm a rainbow too
To the rescue
Here I am
Want you to know just if you can
Where I stand
Sun is shining, weather is sweet, yeah
Make you want to move your dancing feet, now
When the mornin' gather the rainbows, yeah
Want you to know I'm a rainbow too
To the rescue
Here I am
Want you to know just if you can
Where I stand
Sun is shining, weather is sweet, yeah
Make you want to move your dancing feet
When the mornin' gather the rainbows, yeah
Want you to know I'm a rainbow too
To the rescue
Here I am
Want you to know just if you can
Where I stand
Sun is shining
Sun is shining
Make you want to move your dancing feet, now
When the mornin' gather the rainbows, yeah
Want you to know I'm a rainbow too
To the rescue
Here I am
Want you to know just if you can
Where I stand
Make you want to move your dancing feet, now
When the mornin' gather the rainbows, yeah
Want you to know I'm a rainbow too
To the rescue
Here I am
Want you to know just if you can
Where I stand
Sun is shining, weather is sweet, yeah
Make you want to move your dancing feet
When the mornin' gather the rainbows, yeah
Want you to know I'm a rainbow too
To the rescue
Here I am
Want you to know just if you can
Where I stand

You can literally feel the very earliest roots and deep reverberations of reggae come shining through which moves you to the core.
In the 70s this new rhythm style of the day was what he pioneered and experimented with. This today grew into the modern version of Reggae.
This visionary fellow could never have anticipated the profound influence his unique style would later have on not only reggae but hip hop, rap, club music and even pop.
After his passing, notwithstanding Michael Jackson, there was really no old school icons left to fill the void which begs the question, if he were still alive today how much MORE of an influence would he have had on the modern day music scene, particularly modern rap, over the course of the last 41 years since the world lost him (which is way too long, btw).
By contrast, just like consuming a pile of empty calories, the music of today is somehow emptier and no longer revitalizes the soul nor doe it give any lasting satisfaction. Where’s the hard core cult following for top artists like M&M May I ask?
But for a precious few, no one is left of any true authentic quality or originality for aspiring young talent to model after. Sad.

When the morning gathers the rainbow
Want you to know I'm a rainbow too
So, to the rescue, here I am
Want you to know just if you can
Where I stand
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
We'll lift our heads and give Jah praises

The transition @1:54 to the reggae beat and then back to techno is so freaking epic. I don’t know how many times I replayed it.
