This was a profoundly important video for me when it came out. I watched it again and again. It changed my whole approach to playing music and performance. He commits so thoroughly to the songs and stories. And, just yesterday I told the tailor story to a group of kids and they thought it was a riot. So I thought about this video (my VHS tape long being gone), and am very grateful that this is here. Thank you.

Scotland's greatest bard, in my opinion. Better than Robby Burns IMHO.

True. Couldnt agree more.

Absolute genius and beyond mere "cleverness"...... absolutely inspired in every regard. The interwoven performance, demanding so many diverse abilities, is a true tour de force!
